Either way, Swift should be taking most of the runs, Penny in as required.

I can understand that they want to put Swift on a play count, given his injury history. More important to have him at the end of the season, if games are well in hand.

Penny must be washed, if they won't give him carries over what Gainwell is bringing. His career longest run is something less than 20 yards, and he doesn't show any real juice when running. If the line is capable of creating 8 ypc for Swift....

Problem is they're not giving it to Swift when the game's still live. It still took us a full quarter of let down to lean into him in this game for gods sake.

Random observation - I'm watching this Eagles game on a delay of about an hour...

"The chainz" have to be the dumbest thing in football, right? Unless its a touchback or a 2-point conversion, the line of scrimmage is a bit of a guess. Then the end of the play is generally a bit of a guess, especially trying to figure out exactly where the ball was when the knee goes down.

Then we bring out these bloody chains to measure 10 yards to the milli-inch as though it's an accurate, scientific process.
