Yeah the SC community is huge now. Definetly one factor.

Another factor is that in the last few seasons, mid-pricers have been doing really well. So if you go against the pack and don't take a mid-pricer, and he starts like a house on fire, you're screwed trying to get them in. It's now riskier to leave these high ownership players out, than it is to pick them.

Also these damn expensive cash cows. I remember only a few years ago the average price of rookies was like $130k. Now it's closer to $150k. It's forced similar structures, which means you're forced to take less premos, more mid-pricers.


Rookie lottery and tradies will split the pack.

Barring last-minute changes, I've got Clark and Jelly under 10%, Darcy, Dawson and Worpel under 20%.

Guess it also counts as a POD going Neale over Laird and Oliver.

I have 6 players between 240 and 350k, yet only one of them is under 10% ownership. Hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet. Currently mid only. Should get DPP round 6. Lachie Ash.

I didn't end up starting any genuine PODS. I have Cunners and Jelly as my biggest PODs but they aren't that rare. Probably should have tried to start a real POD for a bit of fun, wanted Bailey Dale

Setterfield is my main one at 4% (higher than I thought it would be). Not really afraid to say that out loud, I doubt many people who aren’t already on that train are going to be boarding it now.

Barring rookies my next lowest ownership is Touk at 12%.

My non-selections are probably my main POD. Players above 50% ownership that I don’t have are Taranto, Hopper and currently Sheezel (yeah ik he is a rookie but there aren’t many players over 50% to begin with). Also fading Rozee at 49%. Yeo would’ve been another big one on this list.

I want to jump on the Setterfield train but the choice is a really tough one.

Tough one. Fyfe/Green is safer imo.

It's not likely anyone will put a POD in just because you, or I, or any other kentie has them is it? They deserve everything they get if it is.
