Cox is the question. I am not sure Docherty is the answer. I agree with the rest, but he had one poor performance this week and tonned up the week before.

Question is, do you have Daicos already? If so, are there any other issues with your team apart from Docherty?

Cox as in Brennan Cox. Ave 140 playing kick to kick with Ryan and projected to increase more $ than Setterfield or McKenzie

Already have Daicos n no other huge problems as I’m going to hold Darcy in the ruck…. Eek

Other trade is Greene upgrade to Cameron in the FWD (will leave Sheezel at F8 as I have Ziebell already)

LDU will be pushing 20% by the Kangas lockout, Ziebell will probably finish the week at around 15% or so. Daicos well on the way to 60%.

Already got Hopper. I'm out of trades for the week (ins Ziebell, Setterfield, Naicos). He's not losing money but is on the update list when the time comes.

I'm more than happy for LDU and Ziebell to keep flying under the radar. Hopefully people either can't afford them or have more pressing issues to address.

I obviously don't have him, but if Powelly was gonna smash it for one game this year, this week against the Hawks is possibly the one.

Newcombe and Day are young as Powell and they don't have the support of Greenwood and Cunners. More CBAs on offer since Jy is out. LDU is probably tagged (possibly to little effect, but we'll see). Time to shine Tommy.

You have to remember Cox has come up against 2 teams with no forward line at all.

He is not going to score 100's against the teams with a good forward line.

I don’t like what I’ve seen from Doc so far so made a strategic trade that got me Naicos and the extra cash also allowed upgrade of Chesser to Setterfield. I wouldn’t trade him for Cox though.

As long as Freo continue to have no forward line I disagree somewhat. Cox isn’t just scoring well because he’s dominating bad forward lines, his intercept possessions are high yes but 1) his seagull stats are good and that’s how Freo play anyway and 2) most forward lines struggle against Freo - haven’t conceded 100 since 2021 because again that’s how they play.

It’s probably going to be a dumb pick to choose Cox over Daicos and clearly Cox isn’t going 140 for the year but he could still be a keeper in this role.

Naicos, LDU, Ziebell, Ryan, Cox would have all been classed as madness moves 2 weeks ago
