No doubt he will move around, but could be great value at the price.
Unlike Bruhn I think he could score well in most roles and players will look to feed the ball to him. There aren't many sub 300k defenders who actually look like good value so I agree he could be a dark horse for D4 or D5ish.

Just Young for me.
So far, so good......
This aged well…

I blame Jiska.
Young was on 39 points in the first quarter, then Jiska opened his big mouth to say how well he was going. Cue the SC gods wrath!
Next minute, Young gets smashed, looks rattled and goes on to score a whopping 50 points!
Thanks Uncle!

Dom Sheed (5%, ave 88.5) looked like he was going to tonne up easily yesterday after a huge 2nd qtr. Cant complain so far, should make minimum 100k and be an easy stepping stone

Had a few PODs

Ziebell and Setterfield won’t be ones shortly,

Gawn and [PLAYERCARD]Hunter Clark[/PLAYERCARD] failed spectacularly. Looking for some midprice POD options to hopefully snag some extra stepping stones

Not enough PODs, so bought in another in defence

2 mids may pay off - 1679935383155.png

And 1 fwd for the hell off it- may be ok as well 1679935471038.png

Buckley is only one I didn't start with.

The rest of the team is shit, the coach is ****ed, but kinda fun anyway.

I like all your PODs. Must make it very fun. Personally i like about 5 PODs including 1 or 2 SUPER PODS (<2% ownership) and that provides me enough excitement to get through the season. This year my SUPER PODS are B.Campbell & Cerra. Unfortunately im saying goodbye to Cerra this week so Braeden will be flying the flag for my team as my main POD. Ridley & De Goey are the other 2 PODs ive got and the rest of my team is generic.

I did have 3 uber PODs, assuming Richards/Cox are't any more, Owens should still be and joined by Buckley this week, McGrath can't be far off either but he and Callaghan are the only 2 i'm not fully committed to yet ,and Baker who just may be renamed Ryan next week.
And yeah, it's good actually would have already lost interest this year if it wasn't for Brennan and co, been good just for the fun value.

Given all the SC content, podcasts etc, and with 36 trades - teams are becoming boring and converge way too much!

You my friend are a very rare gem who deals with Uber Uber PODs - but, still finish with the socks :D

Going by today’s ownership
< 10% is POD
< 15% is PODish (maybe even up to 20%)

You know why ?, I, like a few others here prefer to do my own research, I can handle picking a dud if it's my choice, the only 2 players who have pissed me off this year are Bruhn and Clark, did no research on them as I had some issues the week before rnd 1, just trusted someone else opinion.
Wasn't so much the players it's the fact I didn't make my own choice-rookie error- did something really, really stupid last week that cost me a few hundred points, just trying to get back on kilter, getting there, a ****up or 2 always relaxes me.
Posted this last week so should probably take heed of it and not beat myself up about this year, as should some others that haven't had the best start.

Mind you, we are second guessing ourselves too much, this was hardest year ever to pick a starting side with four new coachs, only 1 preseason game to compute players role/fitness/headright- had Cripps/Milller and a few others out to skew data. Only now are we starting to get enuff data to evaluate things

I’ve brought in Matt Kennedy as a super duper POD as a Macrae replacement, it’s a big risk but could pay off nicely. He was everywhere last Thursday night and just about had two hundreds to start the season with a 96 and a 110. Was everywhere at the stoppages and got a lot of opportunities. With Walsh coming back it may be more risky but can rack up the points. He’s at least in top 3 mids at the Blues behind Cripps and Hewett currently.
