Club has mentioned 22nd as the first proper day back, even though the media has run with November 21st.

It strikes me as a bit odd that Steele did not even have an inkling that Ratts was in trouble until Ratten broke the news to him himself.

Surely the captain would’ve been interviewed at least a couple of times during the review and surely those interviews would have squarely sought his views on the coach and his suitability.

it also strikes me as odd, that Steele saw some players on the outer and and it appears from the article he didn't do anything to change anything.

couldn’t agree more..I love Steely as a player but don’t think he’s a natural leader.

Howard is a real leader type but his footy was below average this season. A mate's nephew played with him at Port in the SANFL and said he's a really competitive type who has really good communication and very vocal, he thinks he could be a captain one day. He probably needs a year of good footy to get a leadership position though.

Still really good even though they're all about 75 now. The walking frames and CPAP machines didn't take away from the show at all.
