While I certainly don’t think it CANT happen as they are obviously a really talented group and shows glimpses of it this year I’m surprised so many people think carlton will be in the grand final.

Seldom does a team get to that stage without at least SOME previous finals exposure. Even the Tigers in 2017 - half that side had played in a handful of EFs before so had some grounding in the rise in intensity - Melbourne had that run to the prelim a few years before their win.

I know you're doing your usual trolling itching for an argument. So tell me why you disagree and why, I am assuming, you believe Richmond will. And don't tell me "Tarranto and Hopper will be the difference". They didn't exactly set the house on fire at GWS

FWIW, Cats won 16 games in a row this season playing a premiership brand of football that did not rely on individual brilliance but team first. I am confident this will continue in 2023.
