Position 2023 Rookies

Lads, I need a hand. Just haven't followed enough of the pre-season to make an educated guess with this

I have $139,700 to spend on a bench rookie (preferably MID or FWD, but can make DEF work)

In terms of cheapies, I already have Constable, Wilmot, Cowan, Phillips, Baker, Chesser, Greene and Davey

so it's out of Laurie, Long, McVee and Caminiti. We might get a few more. Who is the stand-out of this bunch?

I wish there was one. Laurie and Caminiti are screaming out "sub" to me and McVee was disappointing in the practice match. Long probably the best of them. (I have Long and Caminiti atm)

Just noticed you didn't mention Sturt. I'd certainly prefer him over the other 4 if picked.

That's the argument for Caminiti, though I wouldn't be surprised if RTB goes with Marshall, Campbell, Cordy (and maybe Sharman) as the (extremely grim) mix at some point.

Cooper Sharman didn't play the last praccy definitely not best 22.

Membrey back around R2-3 at this stage.

I am backing Caminiti to average 55 SC and will exceed expectations and snag some contested marks and 1-2 goals a game. He is my F8.

He is a figjam.

Attitude is his biggest problem and he has probably already told Lyon he deserves more mid time than Steele!

Been fed with a Silver spoon his whole life and not a great bloke in the rooms either team harmony wise. In other words he is self entitled little campaigner who doesn't want to put in the hard yards to succeed at the top level.

Will be playing in the bush in 2 years and hitting on every team mates misses as well after a few beers.
