Do calendar sales mean nothing to you people?

Heres one from left field...Will Brodie from the Dockers...He's on a 3 year contract at $600k which finishes at the end of 2026 but hasn't got a game since round 7 should we look at maybe trying for him...
We already have two Will Brodies. Their names are Hugh Greenwood and Will Phillips

Fisher on a 5 year deal is ******ed.
Our last 4 years are ****ed. He's still got 2 years on a contract at Carlton, you have to be prepared to give something to get something. Does anyone have a highlight reel for "Salary Cap Space"? How does champion data rate "the warchest" in terms of impact on games. Being the most prudent guards of cap room doesn't win you many games of football. Remember a couple of years ago when Collingwood were having a fire sale because their CAP was totally screwed? How badly has that stuffed them long term do we think?

I've watched a fair bit of Carlton over recent years, as a good friend supports them, and have always liked Fisher. Always a mystery as to why he was out of the team. Has good pace, good skills, good endurance. Significantly better than a lot of players on our list. Not every player can be a first rounder. I will be happy to take our 3-5 draftees and the rest as trades from other teams at the 24+ age bracket.

Carlton have tried that for a few years and he still struggles with the defensive stuff.

I see him as a hb distributor with his pace, skill and agility. Plus, it forces him to defend.

I like the Fisher link. Wouldn’t cost more than a third.
Re-upping my earlier post.

As I said a month ago, I really like him off hb and his recent form at hb has clearly attracted the club. Probably more in the hall hb line breaker mould compared to Sheez, but he’s quick and generally a lovely kick.

Really like it. Not even worried about the five years. Likely 450-500 across 5 years. We need the extra years to pry him out as a contracted player. There’s a clear spot for him.
