Maybe we've come over the top for McKay?

Would be perfectly St Kilda to give him 850k, then trade out Howard when bringing McKay in at FB would actually unlock Howards true potential...

Swings and roundabouts.
Norff will offer a kings ransom for that No1 pick and WC have what will satisfy us for Clark and Doogs.

If that were to happen, I'd want to come away with Flanders, Ben King and GC's FRDP.
However things have changed with GC slipping down to pick 4 and they're unlikely to want to shift it now.

What different scenario(s) do you think could theoretically be possible in such a scenario? Especially if it also includes GC’s first pick and other players. I agree, Gold Coast’s first pick would need to be outside the top 6.

Well their pick in the late 30s won’t cut the mustard either.

If they won’t deal on pick 15/16 then they’re out of the picture.
What they only have now isn't really relevant as thwir draft hand will change

They may get priority picks, they may get free agency compo, they may trade players out

Completely screwed is a little harsh, one is contracted and the other is not eligible for FA. What if we paid some or their salaries, or perhaps they gave us Thomas and a later pick?
A player or pick back would definitely be required.
Fullbacks at a premium right now. Everybody wants one.

Watched some draft video's today

Ollie Murphy-200cm utility
Caleb Windsor-all class wingman
Lachie Charleson- tenacious small-mid, quick hands.

Paddy Dow is a yes from me
I couldn't believe people weren't interested earlier

If anyone wants to see why Hunter Clark will never make it.

4 mins to go vs Richmond today. Watch his defensive effort. And watch literally every player on the ground burn him. He's been on the ground for less than a qtr. Everyone else has played a full game.

The guy makes luke Dunstan look like an Olympic athlete.

He's incredibly unfit for the midfield.

Appears we’ve found one in Cordy.
I wouldn't get too carried away about Cordy. Playing full back is a lot easier when your team is winning all over the ground.

He could never hold a spot at the Dogs and they were desperate for a key defender.

I'll point out that I was one of the few on here happy that we went after him, but I think it's unlikely he is a viable option for our number one key defender.

Fair but that looked like a very accountable backline. They had chances but blew them. I don't rate Cordy but he played really well.

He's so unfit but he's a very good ball user. As a sub he looks good. His touches hurt oppositions. Ideally we'd get him on PEDs.

He did play well, not bagging his game. And I'm a fan of him being on the list.

Richmond were awful though and there was very little pressure on that back 6.

Evening Saints fans, pardon the intrusion.

Is there any truth to the rumours that St Kilda are targeting Zac Butters? I’m hearing six years at what would work out to be a bit over a million a year, with the increase in salary cap coming soon. Come home to Victoria factor is in play also.

Please, my erection is only just subsiding over Zaine “I’m Him” Cordy’s game, now you throw this fuel on the fire?!
