I feel for Titch owners, couldn’t have seen this coming. The only blight on Macrae’s coaching career so far!
Yeah it’s disappointing, it’s all fallen apart at the wrong time of the year for the Hermits.

Round 16-Oliver still not back, had to trade

Round 17-Lloyd ko’d on 41, scaled back to 31

Round 18- Darcy injured in game, Dale 50, Titch sub, Green injured at training.

Round 19- Laird out injured, Titch subbed for 30

Team underperforming overall! 😔

Hayden Young was a pretty s**t pick in the end. Has had a couple good games and only missed 1 to injury, but if Stewart and Docherty don't get injured at the start of the year he never enters my team.

Yet all the PS Podcasts talked Young up .....said it was a line ball call between Young and Daicos

Oh sure sure.gif

Did they really? Wow, I haven't watched too many Freo games this year but from what I've seen he hasn't really impressed me.

Seems to lope around a lot, his kicking is a bit overrated too. I foolishly picked him instead of Ryan a few of weeks back, it bloody hurts!

Walsh and Green on the bench covered by Hewett and Mills.

Missing some good rookies in Humphrey, Weddle, S.Ryan

By passing Gulden when he was bottomed out (almost took him)

Picking up Young in R2 after a monster against us.

Picking up N.Martin & Mills. Gross

Going Bont as captain this week when I could have picked nearly anyone else (Brayshsw, Laird, Merrett, Dunkley, Gulden, Butters, etc.

30 + points down the drain. :(

To top it off Sicily will go 170 still despite all this talk about Ross The Boss saying that he's gonna try and shut him down.

I'll top that - shifted the C from English to Stewart yesterday morning

Not looping on SP Wilmot's 89 this week for some over-rated spud from Sydney who has somehow managed to get to 150 games by just running around not where the ball is.

I still don't know how Mills averaged over 110 the past 2 seasons. He didn't pass the eye test even then and definitely isn't now.

Looking at my trade history...

This one sucks. Started Jelly despite knowing his history, didn't last a game without being concussed. Stewart just unlucky, was a good pick despite that. Was only out for a week though, lying campaigners. Could have brought in English and Daicos, but was scared off by English's injury history and went for a POD in Rioli. Ironically Witts got injured three games later, while Rioli cost me 75 points that week alone, and has averaged 90 in my team. Honestly shocked he's the 10th ranked defender, though I guess he's had some good games this year. Goes missing far too often though.

This one also terrible. Started Bowes despite him missing the first game and needing to average 85 to be a worthwhile pick. Got $80k out of him. Miller and Roberts would immediately die on entering my team.

This was a sliding doors moment. Bought in Dawson at basically max price right as he started his down patch mid-season. Breaking the bank to bring him in meant I was pinching pennies for the rest of my upgrade cycle. I'd done a double-downgrade the week before to make it worse.

Effectively the above meant Rowell instead of Neale/Serong and Lloyd instead of Sinclair/Houston. Potentially could have swung other great picks like Libba and Petracca too.

Should have gotten out of Oliver straight away, instead of waiting and getting Laird for $40k more. Could also have traded Rioli instead of Sheezel on the bye and pocketed $50k.

I moved to Ballarat late last year.

Last Saturday, I could have gone to the local game and watched Toby Greene, who I'd been wanting to see live for a long time.

With Geelong playing Freo at the same time, I eventually decided to stay home and watch the Cats.

This is both a vent and a regret.

I can’t loop Mills and Newman.
Play Mills they said!
I was sceptical, they both scored about the same last week and Mills has been s**t. Newman has been good, since going into the mids.
Ok, one more chance….
Well I’m here to tell you, Mills can eat a giant bag of sweaty cheesy dicks!
Barring injury and having already used my last trade, he will never grace the hallowed ground that my team runs out on again this season. Actually any season!
Actually, I will play both Hewetts over you. Yes, even the WC rookie Hewett!

GTFO You half arsed half effort fake cornflake f&*king wannabe footballer, welcome to the extensive and ever growing list of never again shitcampaigners in the scope of No Eye Deers sniper rifle! You better not ever get within 2 Kms of my sights!

Scoops has vented in lurid terms and with a complete lack of decorum for weeks over this.
Scoops will stay classy and stick to a regret.
Bringing in Jeremy Cameron the week before he got accidentally knocked into next week by friendly fire specialist Gary Rohan.
Jezza was only ever designed to be an F6/7 loop option and deliver a score in the final bye rounds.
He delivered a 53 so poor it was discarded, the KO -3, sat out two games (forcing Scoops' to lose at rookie roulette) and then delivered a 69-average (no, not nice, thanks.for.asking) until this week.
Due to injuries, at times he had to be F6 and 3/4 weeks couldn't be looped due to the fixture.
Scoops kept hoping he'd turn the corner or at least comfortably outscore Ryan 'White Chocolate' Maric.
Due to what seems to be an ongoing shoulder issue and a loss of confidence on setties (and, if we are being honest, at first probably still some lingering concussion effects), it just wasn't meant to be.
Scoops is not proud of the caustic stream of profanity-laced rants directed at Jeremy, and hopes that when he hangs his boots up at the end of the year, the group can come together and forgive Scoops in a Truth and Reconciliation Council (or a Hague-style military tribunal, probably fairer given the number of magics dropped of late).
Scoops just wanted to have a semi-decent finish after a rough start and had managed to climb back from 79k back to around 5k when the Jezztanic plowed through those icebergs and inflicted irreparable damage on Scoops' squad and pride.
But that doesn't excuse cyber-bullying Jeremy.
Scoops would like to state for the record:
Jeremy does enjoy relations with cows, but these are not of an amorous or untoward nature, they are wholesome and pure.
Jeremy has had an unfortunate form slump at an inopportune time - while.unfortunate, this is not proof of descendancy from any 20th century despots,.living or deceased
He played well against the Pies. He got lucky with two.umpring decisions and let himself down from set shots, but otherwise was actually handy.
Scoops stands by the dogshotter comments - Jezza knew exactly what he was doing when he ironed out Harris Andrews many moons ago.
Scoops will not be making further comment and wishes to apologize to any supporters of Geelong and / or denizens of the Bellarine Peninsula and bovine enthusiasts everywhere for hurt or suffering caused during this unfortunate period in our proud SuoerCoach Nation's many-splendoured history.
TLDR: Bringing in Jezza sank Scoops' farewell tour comeback, but that doesn't mean Jezza is Hitler's great grandson. He's a good player a bit off the boil. It's SC Butterfly Theory - a Jezzafly shitting the bed in Sleepy Hollow can induce a shitstorm of sooking halfway around the world.

Yours truly,
Gutsroy 'Scoops' McGillicuddy

3 of my starting premo mids were Mills, Steele, and Andrew Brayshaw.

Thought Steele was underpriced and his first two weeks weren't great and got injured, anyway. Traded him then.
Andrew Brayshaw has picked up over the last 6 or so weeks, but his scoring was quite poor up until Freo's bye.
Mills another poor one. Traded him out when he got injured scoring 4.

Put me behind the 8-ball quite a bit with all 3 of them being underwhelming.

Although, I traded Steele for Setterfield which was a fail. But it did allow me to trade Brodie Grundy for English. So, swings and roundabouts.
