We were just too scrappy with the ball in that first half. Improved as the game went on.

Robertson a massive influence on that result. Sharp, Mathieson and Fullarton had an impact in the second half too.

Throw in Lyons as well

Let the Dogs kick the first goal of the quarter and still ran over the top.

Only caught the last quarter at the ground but yeah was a nice end to the game. More impressed by Fullerton than I have been for a while. Its a level down but his positioning was so much better

We did especially well to arrest their dominance over us from the first quarter where it looked like they could win by 10+ goals. Darcy became less and less of a factor the longer the game went on.

Clawed them back from over 5 goals away nearly halfway through the third. Not exactly the Miracle on Grass but very satisfying nevertheless.

So for those that could watch it seems Dev will be back in? Considering was on the fringe anyway surely gets a run. Was he playing inside mid? Needs some minutes doing that in seniors.

Dev and Ah Chee for me and if we want a player that will actually leave it all out there and give 100%, then Matho to.

I wouldnt be critical at all if we made a statment and dropped Hippy or Joe for Fullarton - Of course both are better than Fulrton but a message needs to be sent that you cant just be gifted games and no give a crap about your effort knowing youll never be dropped. I think Froggy would even do better or at least try harder in the fwd line.

This is the first time I've seen Sharp take care and be effective with his disposal. He also seemed a bit stronger , not tearing around like the road runner but able to hold his feet in contests better.

I still think he's got a way to go before being viable in Senior footy but he's definitely improving.

Every single VFL commentator so far this year has been brutal to listen to.
