I know Arnold got caught which led to that goal, but jeeze for a KPD he has some dash. Good intercept mark but clearly loves to attack. A rare combination. Firmly believe injuries and fitness in general were the reason he wasn't picked ahead of Joyce but reckon he'll be on a list before long.
Hard to compare him and Joyce, but think I wish we had have listed Arnold instead - he can just play football naturally that Joyce is lacking. Not saying Joyce has been poor but would definetly swap the two come seasons end if possible. As you say, a KPD with run is great

Yeah I am another who thinks he is worth a spot on our list. I think what might have been important in grabbing Joyce was the fact he had already played at AFL level. It wasn't a decision based on future development I don't think. It was a here and now decision.

If any of the young talls in our academy aren't worthy of being drafted this year, Arnold must surely be looked at again.

Fluffed a few lines, but the intent has been terrific. Could have been 10 goals up. As others have opined: Ah Chee much sharper today.
Are we talking about Ginnivan?

The Collingwood ruckman was destroyed last week as well. Wouldn't read much into the ruck performance. Very green ruckman in for Collingwood.
All round wouldn’t read much into it as Collingwood have 14 on injured list. Can only play what’s in front of you but wouldn’t be getting to carried away.

Lyon, Noah and Matho best bu miles for mine

I've not been his biggest advocate but Ah Chee should be in the seniors.

I’ve always liked Ah Chee because he plays his role and competes hard. They’re the types you want in the bottom 6 of your 22/23. My sense is that his floor and ceiling is much more consistent than some of the guys in the same bracket as him.

Wow what a win . They were impressive. My take on the game:

Arnold was excellent his kicking is up to standard and he takes marks when required. Should be promoted to an AFL list in future.

Loved Maddens game in the backline when he didn’t have the ball he ran down his opposition players and ensured they did not get an easy kick. If we need a pressure back he is ready to go.His game awareness has also improved and kicking is better also.

Ah Chee looks to good for the reserves and would be a ready made replacement in the 1sts. Hardly got beaten an is ready to go.

Lyon looks a level above at this level. I know everyone talks about his two way running but he is so clever and disposal in close is excellent as he seems to make the right decisions. If Dunkley does not work out in the centre bounces he is our man.

Fort was BOG kicked goals and got heaps of tap outs if Hipwood and Daniher don’t workout as a partnership he would be my go to guy as atleast he kicks straight.

We are blessed with ready to go players.

Interesting to see the Werribee side we struggled to beat by a point in Round 1 has just knocked off Southport on the Gold Coast by 4 goals...
I thought they looked very good in the game we played against them.

Yeah, me too, but a lot of the commentary at the time was about how bad we were.
Their structure and run with the ball was very good for a non afl affiliated team.
Really well coached.
