Who were your best for us today... Lohmann, Brain and Sharp?I didn't realise we were going to get an AFLW practise match as well - today's going to be wall to wall Lions games for me

They were all good, but although Lohmann jagged a lucky goal at the end to give us some hope at the end I thought he went a bit missing in the last quarter. Sharp was good all day. Dunkley gave us a bit. Fullarton was best up forward but he was sent back at times, which robbed our forward line and ended up providing Willy with the goal that started their comeback.Who were your best for us today... I've some sympathy for Lyons here. The Seagulls' defence was very diligent so wherever you kicked it became a contest, and we weren't winning enough of those.Sharp, Brain and Smith for mine. Lyons was very good at winning the ball but his turnovers were extremely costly and honestly played a part in us losing. You can't keep winning clearances and kicking it direct to the opposition.
Willy’s pressure, sustained pressure, was the best I’ve ever seen at this level. Deserved their win.
Liked Sharp, Brain, Fullarton and Tunstill. Couple of older heads very, very ordinary.
He might give some forward lines some headachesYou reckon Brain might storm his way into the first next year?
Brain living with Will and Jaspa and seeing how they prepare and how disciplined they are combined with his own natural skill I think augurs well for him coming on big time in 24.You reckon Brain might storm his way into the first next year?

What game you watching? Lions had 5 free kicks that resulted in goals. Umpires torched Williamstown was very ordinary display. They thoroughly deserved the winHow is that not a push after all the ones paid against us????

Fair enough, I agree they were poor all day but Lions definitely on the better side of ledger. What about my post made you think I was commenting on the overall quality of umpiring over the game and not just that one decision?
McCarthy except for the odd quite game has been fantastic for us this year.Fair enough, I agree they were poor all day but Lions definitely on the better side of ledger.
Lohman should be playing seniors, no wonder he is off to Bulldogs next year as Fagan continues to play McCarthy ahead of him week after week. Let the kid develop.
He's had opportunities that he's not been able to take advantage of. Small forward is not an area of need in the senior team at the moment and as we head towards the finals we can't be awarding games on the basis of development alone. If he decides to move on next year, that would be a shame but all the best to him.Fair enough, I agree they were poor all day but Lions definitely on the better side of ledger.

He was on field in the first quarter, but what happened after that is a mystery as yet unexplained.Has richly spat the goo ? Don’t even show up for the ressies?
He went off injured early, hamstring I think. He has been ordinary in the reserves since coming off his training block.Has richly spat the goo ? Don’t even show up for the ressies?
Loman has shown little when he gets a run in the seniors , got work to do
Wouldn’t be surprised if there is an imminent retirement announcement if his hamstring rules him out for the year. Was hoping we’d give him a farewell game, even as sub versus Saints but from what we’ve seen of late; he looks done.He went off injured early, hamstring I think. Yep, I am expecting our 2 oldest players who are both Out of Contract to retire this year ie. Richy and Zorks.Wouldn’t be surprised if there is an imminent retirement announcement if his hamstring rules him out for the year. He had 10 disposals last night which 6 were uncontested and 1 tackle. Him and Rayner not working defensively anywhere near well enough for Brisbane to win a flag.Odd take. Almost as if you don't watch Brisbane play.
