Post operation to remove some hardware which he said went well.
Said that the ligaments are all repaired and is aiming to be be back playing at some level around the bye - a mere 6 weeks away which seems wildly optimistic and in his own words requires everything in his rehabilitation to go perfectly from here

Wouldn’t want to be in the trenches with Bell. He was pretty lame on the subject of the umpiring of Harley. Lots of “we’ll support Harley” but appeared to attribute the blame to Harley’s “aggressive” style of play and his reactions to events within games.
Gavin Bell on SEN with Duffield
Bell failed to acknowledge that Harley is umpired differently simply saying “if we feel we need to reach out to the umpires we will”. The club needs to wake up and actually provide support to Harley, and stop blaming him for his obvious frustration about pretty obvious bias. Do your job Gavin Bell.
I would like to see someone at the club put it back on the reporter when they ask about Harley being umpired differently.

What the club says publicly vs what they're talking to the AFL about are almost certainly two different things.
We've heard the club (Bell & Mini) talk about the Harley umpiring in their press interviews this week, diplomatic but acknowledging that there's an issue. You can bet that they've raised it with the AFL.
Publicly lashing the umpires will only force the AFL to stand behind the umps (aka being in the trenches with them), which is counter productive to the outcome we want.

5:52 of the McQualter presser he mentions Shuey sending Gross a tape of him getting rundown early in his career, which I thought was awesome seeing as how many of us here were saying the same thing.

This is a really good interview with Dom Sheed on SEN with Simmo and Goss
Covers a lot of ground - Sheed talks a lot about the impact McQualter has had on the club as well as the new recruits. Also goes into some detail on what the club did to address the Selwood tragedy
Highlight is them talking about Darcy and Jackson but deviating into Scott Lycett asking why he wasn’t getting a game ahead of Cox and Naitanui
