Jacob Blight could be our guy.
Although North and Richmond could make cases for selecting him too.

North and Hutchinson is an interesting watch.
As stated in the article, North already have plenty in his mould. Do they go best talent available or pick for needs?

Doubt he'd get beyond the Tigers if Northh pass on him.

New haircut but familiar game from Harvey Langford. His strength at stoppage helped his Stingrays team gradually gain ascendancy in that area and he was typically dangerous when swung forward where his goals were a part of a surge for his team in the third quarter.

Wonder if Will Elliott - son of cricketer Matt - is still on our radar. He was spoken of as a potential MSD pick last year when we ended up getting Tucker, and is now getting a gig at VFL level with Coburg.

Was on Box Hill's list last year, didn't crack a game. Seems to be having a Brandon Ryan esque season at Coburg.

Top WA draft prospect Bo Allan stepped back from playing senior WAFL into the Colts team this week and was given a chance to show what he can do. His power was simply too much to handle, and his direct attacking approach regularly set up his teammates for scoring opportunities.

Really like the look of him, he is a penetrating kick, has good evasion, can stand up in a tackle and really uses his legs in those early steps to drive away from congestion. Looks very much like the sort of prospect we need. Davo-27 had him at 49 early on in his top 50 suspect he’s climbing off the back of this.

With his twin brother Jack absent, Matt Whitlock was relocated from his usual key defensive post into the forward line and responded with a bag of five goals. Cal Twomey referenced this game on his show Gettable in suggesting that Matt is now in the top 10 conversation and the numbers do look impressive. A number of his goals did have an element of luck however, with a couple of free kicks as well as two over the back run in's to open goal. He was largely beaten in aerial duals, although he did manage to pull down some impressive marks.

Look at the size of Blight.

Imagine his preseason pics. The hype on this board is going to reach Schoey levels.

MSD. North need a key defender badly they leak goals, North need a Key Forward to work with Larky to score goals, North will pick a midfielder.
Norf=Norf.

It is unlikely that a MSD pick is going to come in and change the clubs fortunes straight away, especially a KPP who probably needs further development. They should take the player they see has the most chance of being their long-term.

Joe Berry has been one of the most consistent goal scorers in this years talent league having registered four majors in three of his four games for the Bushrangers. He's giving Isaac Kako a run as best small forward in this years national draft, ticking all the boxes for a modern small forward. Nice size, quick off the mark, able to anticipate and crumb a ground ball at pace and adept overhead, not to mention a sharpshooter around goal.
