Poor Benny Barrett can pack his bags now

Well, actually, by shifting 45 out to pick 93, we're actually a higher chance of taking him in the main draft.

I still think we'd be hoping Barrett will not be picked at all and slide to Cat B, this gives us a pick right at the back of the draft though to grab someone like him at the death.

Can't ****ing wait for maths to be done here as to what we have actually got for Houston after all this is done.

The Houston trade made us a laughing stock, a player in his prime with years left on his contract and our lack of depth, don’t worry about maths there is no way we are winning on that trade.

Why would we draft a tall forward after literally just trading for one. A small forward is far more a need.

McEntee is trash.
Rioli is injury prone
SPP is an unknown how he will return from injury
DBJ is just average.

Christ feel like weve traded out pick 5 and JHFs first born for pick 109 the way people are carrying on. So what youre favourite didnt get picked for all the 2 week draft experts where Parker and Co have probably been following Joe for 2 years.

Lots of claims that Armstrong/Shannahan/Reid etc are already better than Berry when absolutely none of them have even touched a footy at AFL level nor play a similar position to Berry. 45 could easily be another Nathan Blee or Brendon Ah Chee that pick was never a guarantee either.

FMD id hate to be drafted to this club with how weve carried on about Sinn and now this will stain Berrys career. Give the bloke a chance. I for one welcome our own smokin Joe

Before the draft WC had 12, we had 13, Freo 14.

Twomey had WCE at 15, us at 16, Freo at 17 and he had Freo taking berry so they were keen.

WTF is going on to give away 45? What did we get from WCE given they got to take Bo Allen before Freo did??

Freo don't need bo Allen. Their midfield is set. They wanted a Walters replacement.

Sad part is Houston wasn't keen on returning to Port and staying on despite claiming he was happy to stay. Add insult to injury, pies had virtually nothing to offer and had to rely on GC to do most of the legwork.

No they didn’t.

They traded for Cameron, their best and only true small forward.

Freo wanted a small forward too, clearly came down to us vs them for WCE pick. Stop the melts, forward line class is exactly what we need.

We’ve arguably got the best small forward in the draft, which is also arguably our biggest need.

So we were keen on Berry
