Since Howe is out and that harvey Harrison might be in doubt with an ankle, I'm also keen to see who might line up forward.

Bookies will be on the phone to them quick smart

Any guesses anyone ?

Gold Coast v Geelong
Tyson Stengle To Kick 2+ Goals
Jed Walter To Kick 2+ Goals
Sydney v Carlton
Will Hayward To Kick 2+ Goals
Matthew Owies To Kick 2+ Goals
Collingwood v Adelaide
Izak Rankine To Kick 2+ Goals
Bobby Hill To Kick 2+ Goals

$113.70 PB

SB Free Hit
Witts AGS $6
Holmes 20+ $1.29
Combo price is $9, which is a really nice boost from the straight multi price (6 x 1.29 = 7.74).

For: Holmes has hit 20+ in last 11 matches
For: Witts has kicked AGS 2/3 matches
For: Without Cameron and possibly Hawkins, maybe J Henry/Blicavs spend more time fwd, weakening Geel defense
Against: Not sure TIO is great for ruckman goals
Against: Witts' two recent goals were against WCE and North in big wins. Won't be so easy this week

Nat Fyfe 2+ @ $19 B365

For

Spent a lot of time fwd last week, pretty much the most since late 2022
Took 2 marks I50 last week. Has taken 4 in the last three weeks (which included a match playing just 4thQ as sub)
Three scoring shots in the last three matches

Against

Last week's extra time in fwd line was after having been the sub the week before (easing him back in?)
Hard to score against St Kilda (Fyfe's last 3-goal game was against STK in 2022, but that wasn't Ross stint 2.0)

Gawn Hail Mary - Turner and JVR both missing so Melbourne need to replace 2 forwards... reports of a possible debut for ruckman Will Verrall which will allow Max to spend time inside 50. Bailey Williams is a pretty average ruck so makes sense for Verrall to debut this week if he indeed does. Also doubts around Jeremy McGovern's fitness and if he doesn't play it leaves the Eagles backline very exposed. Anyway, he's kicked 5 in Perth once before so why not...

3+ @ $26
4+ @ $151
5+ @ $401

Highly unlikely given he's finally found form again in the backline, but it's a small possibility. Maybe worth some loose change at those odds. I think they'll bring in Ben Brown and Verrall so no need for McDonald forward.

Might just stick to AFL Fantasy betting then.

Early thoughts on AFL Fantasy multis? Touk Miller 100+ AFL Fantasy Points, Sam Flanders 90+ AFL Fantasy Points, Anderson 80+ AFL Fantasy Points?

They would cannibalise a few points off each other.

Any idea how often they hit those? Either solo or as a combo?

Interestingly Gold Coast are 5-2 up there and Geelong have never played at TIO.

Back to post above but Ladbrokes have a price of around evens for AFL Fantasy Betting Multi for Thursday Night Football:

Touk Miller 100+ AFL Fantasy Points
Sam Flanders 90+ AFL Fantasy Points
Noah Anderson 80+ AFL Fantasy Points

at around 2.07 or so. I think thats a good bet builder but will steer away just because surprisingly Geelong had the wood over Gold Coast as a team in AFL Fantasy scoring. (since 2017 Rd 7)

Team Records in AFL Fantasy Scoring between the 2 sides:

Gold Coast v Geelong
Rd 3, 2023: 1445 v 1526
Rd 22, 2022: 1507 v 1700
Rd 10, 2021: 1338 v 1857
Rd 10, 2019: 1486 v 1644
Rd 23, 2018: 1505 v 1913
Rd 11, 2018: 1348 v 1742

If you include the COVID year in 2020, Geelong also beat them as a Fantasy points wise as a team.
