I still can't fathom that these idiots think we've had a successful year - if I manage to get there, I'll put it to them that our last successful year was 2004.

They are trying to change the narrative, Koch just wants to feel validated for keeping stinkers about so long, because the obvious fact is after 12 years we haven’t even made a GF.

Question 1.
Why is the club putting forward that 2024 was a success, when it ended with two out of three finals performances being non competitive, with the average losing margin of 5 of our last 6 finals being over 10 goals? Given that making the top 4 is a significant challenge and achievement, should not we be attempting to maximise what we do with the double chance, rather than pissing it away 4 times in the last 5 years?

Question 2.
Given our now extremely poor finals record, what is being done in 2025 to change the approach? Why has the club decided to stick with the same coaching squad that has now utterly failed to capitalise on their opportunities for over a decade?

Question 3.
Why haven't we enlisted the help of a sports psychologist or leading mentor to effectively attempt to undo Kenny's loser brainwashing, which has seeped into almost all of our players, leading them to piss their pants at any and all high pressure situations?

Question 4.
Why haven't you sacked ken Hinkley?

Question 5.
The club's creed specifies that any "no-hopers" will be cleaned out. If that is the case, why is the biggest no hoper of all, known granny scammer David Koch, still at this football club disgracing it's history with his presence?

Final question for the bonglords present today. Ken Hinkley recently stated in 2023 that this was the best list he's ever had. At the end of the season, the club decided we needed key defenders and rucks, and so traded away future draft capital to fill those needs. Then this year piss Davies said the list is shit. Yet we finished the minor round second on the ladder.

Given our high H&A finishes, and the club trading away our future picks to fill needs now, this suggests we are in a premiership window. Why do you ****ing losers then turn around and say the players are shit and it's their fault? Which is it? Is the list good or is it cooked? Why do you spineless weasels do anything to protect the cult of ken Hinkley, when it's obvious as dogs bollocks he's the main part of the problem?

Finally, **** you all, you ruined the club.

Bonus supplementary question:
The club publically stated several years ago that it's goal was to win 3 flags on 5 years. Having utterly failed on that metric, failing to even qualify for a grand final in any competition during that period, who is being held accountable for these failures? In any professional organisation, missing your targets by that much should surely call for some independent review and for changes to be made. Why is the club so lacking in accountability?

My question. What would Ken have to do to actually be sacked?
He would probably have to assault someone at the AGM, who is asking unwelcome questions :).

I'll hopefully get to this.

I think i'm happy enough for Snowdon to continue, I think he's on our side generally by the sounds.

Wonder whether Koch will parachute in another more amenable former player to take the spot, like Cassisi.
You need to be there. Question time needs to be dominated by people aged 25 to 50. The fight is now in the hands of the younger set as the club is not interested in the opinions of older members. So all young active members on here that live in SA need to be there with relevant questions. If we can't do this the club will take it as a green light to continue on their way & we may be stuck with Ken for many years.

Snowdon has agreed to multiple extensions. Is he really the right guy. I'm wondering if they're rushing this thru to limit time for a new candidate to step up. I want to hear from Tredders re this from a reliable source that we can trust. I don't know who that is.

They're not rushing this to limit time for a new candidate to step up. Couldn't be further from the truth. And Snowdon has a family health issue going on which makes it questionable as to whether he's going to run for re-election anyway.

Fwiw, if Snowdon runs again, I'd likely vote for him given his position on the head coach.

Thanks for the update as always, particularly re Snowdon.

I’ve never met the man so this opinion is on optics alone, but Snowdon always seemed like a fairly no-nonsense operator when he was heading up the Footy Department.

I can’t really picture him sanctioning Ken’s buffoonery or not being able to see through his bullshit.

Wasn't Snowdon part of the committee that recommended the last extension?

He was, but I know for a fact that the committee wasn't unanimous in its decision to recommend the extension until the final vote.

How I read it was: they were unanimous until the final vote, then they weren't.

I'm sure Chewy will confirm.

Would expect wishywashy non answers or not answered at all but for me I want questions along the lines of:

Question 1 for David:
Given your position is unelected and members have no say in judging your performance or those that you deem suitable to appoint to the board how do you ensure that after being in the position beyond 10 years that you are performing appropriately and have appropriate governance in place.

Question 2:
Given you have been asked the following questions multiple times in multiple agm's What mechanisms are in place to ensure that the club returns to member control and if there has been no action here as yet why not?

Question 3
You have stated that the pass mark for this year's was making finals. When was this decision made?. How does this sit with the Club existing to win premierships and what do you expect next year's pass mark to be?

Question 4:
Whether or not you agree with the bastards booing there is an obvious division within the club with older passionate members in particular that have legitimate concerns that appear to be not a priority for the club to maintain as paying members. Why is this the case and if you disagree that this occuring what action is the club taking to reach out or maintain these members (because I am one and I can say nothing).

Question 5 (predicated on Hinks definitely staying which I think he is).

Given that you have backed the coach on multiple occasions including this year. If we were to fail to reach a grand final or premiership again next year will you and other key stakeholders such as the CEO and head of football resign. If not how would you ensure that there is accountability to the members?

I’m not clear on this. Wasn’t or was unanimous until the final vote?

Oops, autocorrect got me there.
There was dissenters until the final vote when it was obvious he was going to get the extension. Then they say it was unanimous as a show of solidarity and strength.

It's all political BS.

Dissenters plural.

So Snowden and at least one other football committee member opposed to Hinkley's last extension. Davies and Cassisi were very much for it. So who were the others on the football committee at the time?

A common occurrence in boards and committees.
