If this doesn’t sell you on Hannaford, I don’t know what will. His team got smoked, but didn’t once drop his head, and played at full intensity from siren to siren. He reminds me a lot of Picken
The Picken comparison is a good one.Personally I’d prefer Berry at 17 and Hannaford at 25, but this is the next best thing. I’m really keen on Clarke and Urquhart with our non-top 25 picks.
Berry’s pace, crumbing and ball usage would be incredible in our side. Can play crumber while deep forward, and also push high up the ground and have an impact. I can see him and/or Hannaford replacing McNeil/VDM quite early.
Yeah agreed. Whilst it is a midfield deep draft. Not all clubs need MIDS. Some need a small forward, some a tall forward, others a defender as their first priority. Berry is probably the number one ranked small forward in this years draft. He could be gone by the early teens. Tigers look likely. They will be stupid to not throw their picks around at different positions for balance. And they need to replace some of the smalls they lost in the off-season at either end. There’s 0% chance Berry is still there at 17 (23). I was trying to be realistic. The only way we get Berry is by trading for Richmond’s pick 11 imo.

I haven't rated zerohanger personally. They are genuinely guessing half the time with their content, and lack knowledge of most teams outside of their own bubble.

For 48 go and look at a bit of Luke Kennedy. He is one I feel someone could jump on in that range.Perfect for us
Berry ( if we could trade into his range )
Hannaford
Clarke/ Davis
Not sure about 48 right now.

I think the list needs a mature ruckman, moving Lobb or Darcy in there for a full game hurts the team. It also opens up the option of dropping English if he continues with his form from this year.I haven't rated zerohanger personally. We have four players capable of playing ruck, and are to tall already. Sure, lets add a 5th and ignore genuine needs![]()
I've not seen any vision, but our picks seem to be in good positions list fit wise. Around 17, Hotton, Lindsay, Trainor and Berry all sound like good fits. Dattoli, Oliver, Gross, Hannaford and Moraes sound nice at 25. Any of these people would recommend I watch some vision of?
Light on genuine mids?
Yeah I saw this and was wondering what universe I woke up in
Depending on where they are rated may need to trade it for points ? Or if they aren't highly rated could maybe get a pick in first. Who are the F/S for next year?If we have f/s next year, it makes sense to trade our future first.
The only way this happens is opposition teams take every key position and every ruck player available in this draft after our first selection and then it’s a slim chance he gets to 35I think Harrison Oliver would be a good fit for us, still there at 35? Which should come in a couple of spots…

Hannaford tested at the state combineHannaford I can see as a genuine AFL mid in a year or two, although someone did question his tank ?
Berry also , certainly looks a bloke that could play wing.
Those 2 blokes would be great for our current list.
And the other 2 I mentioned, best available maybe ?
Davis already a mid at junior level .
Clarke half back or wing , lovely user of the footy.
I would love another gun mid , but I just don’t see any after the top 15 ?
With Kennedy now and Sanders needing to play ,anlso add Garcia , I think we have bought another 12 months.
The rest is great though, so if he improves his endurance he will be elite. His Yo-Yo testing is alot better then his 2km time Trial so it shows atleast something there to work ok.Hannaford tested at the state combine
Height 180.1
Vertical jump 66
VJ Right 86
VJ Left 69
5mtr 1.077
10mtr 1.775
20mtr 2.954
Agility 7.922
2KM 7.26
It's a pretty slow 2km time especially for a mid. His agility test was number 1 at the state combine level
I think it has to be one of Hotton or Hannaford unfortunately.Hotton, Hannaford & Clarke please
