I reckon nick bryan from the dons could be a potential gawn successor. takes the piss in the vfl every week yet can’t get a game behind old man goldy and the most overrated player in the comp draper

Not to go all Danster on us but he was one I wanted to go for last year. He looks a ripper! Yet somehow wanted to stay despite Draper and the recruitment of Goldy.

Would be a perfect fit imo.

Only query is his ability to play forward but as a ruck, he is very good.

Saw an article that Collingwood are going for Mcclugage, Bailey Smith and/or Josh Battle this off season without even having a first round pick, meanwhile we have all our chips in for Ryan Angwin.

This sums us up really. We'll end up with Lobb and Angwin and without a first round pick thinking we can win it next year. Pies aim high, we pick off the low hanging fruit.

Eh the pick order doesn't really count for much in the MSD. Newcombe would be just about the only genuine gun to come from it and he was already in the Hawks system at VFL level.
