Full season highlights for Jagga Smith, the most consistent performer in this years draft pool. He was a relentless accumulator of the footy no matter the opponent or the level he played at, and displayed some elite AFL level attributes along the way. He may not ultimately end up being taken at pick 1, but he's the most risk free of the elite prospects at the pointy end of the pool.

The only thing crazier to me then this kid potentially sliding to our pick is the prospect that we might then pick someone else...

Reminds me more of Zak Butters than Zak Butters did in his draft year!

Full season highlights for Harvey Langford. These highlights demonstrate what a consistently powerful and prolific season Langford has had, in terms of sheer performance level perhaps only matched by Jagga Smith. Deservedly named joint Larke medalist, and demonstrated his leadership traits in propelling both his Vic Country and Dandenong Stingrays teams to excellent seasons even if they did ultimately fall short of the major trophies. If he can overcome some concerns around his athletic profile, he could end up starring at the next level.

Thanks for sharing. Great to see them all put together. He isn’t the most athletically gifted but gives me Hodge and Bontempelli vibes. Think he’ll end up being an A grade talent and wouldn’t be unhappy at all if we got him at pick 5

After the first half of the season Josh Smillie was flying high as most people's pick 1 favourite due to his massive frame, slick movement in traffic, clean hands, penetrating boot and ability to consistently hit the scoreboard. After a quieter than anticipated champs series Smillie lost some form through the back half of the season which has seen him slide down the boards. If his early season play is more indicative of what we can expect from Josh in the future then a team picking him in the middle or back end of the top 10 will be getting a bargain.

Very hard to player to measure in the scheme of things. Occasional bursts of lethargy and where does he fit as a player - very intriguing talent.

Agreed. Huge ceiling but a risk too. Reckon the Tigers bite on him considering how many early picks they have.

Full season highlights of the slick, classy and clever Murphy Reid. It was an incredibly successful season for Murphy who was named as the MVP of a Vic Metro team that won the Champs, as well as being one of the driving forces of a Sandy Dragons team that stomped their way to another Talent League flag.

Did the pies and blues both trade their 2025 F1s? Just thinking in terms of Trac next year and if he tries to leave again.
Yeah I think they did, but it's expected by 2025 that teams will be able to trade futures 2 years in advance, so 26 and 27 future picks - as long as they get that flimsy AFL check off

2027 picks are trash with Tassie coming in that draft.

Assume a pick 9 will end up being a pick ~25

Agreed. You'd be pretty fn stupid to take future picks into the Tassie compromised draft seasons. Dumb time for the AFL to introduce it tbh.

Should have done it this season to at least have it in compromised at least once before a decade of compromised drafts

I’d give this guy a rookie spot as another developing foward Jay Polkinghorne.

Not a bad idea however we need more smalls rather than talls/mid. We've seen how devastating a fleet of smalls can be.

Wouldn't say no however.

If we miss out on jSmith, then I would like one of Travaglia or Berry... Or Both of them. run and speed.
