Smille + Baz would be a fantastic haul this off seasonJosh Smilee
Thats all
Having seen him close up for two years running in preseason and the way he gets on with the other players and that some of the players we were looking at had already gone was the reason. McKenzie has a list and so do other list managers. I am sure this has been mentioned before. He was the next cab off the rank. He is a very talented footballer. You haven't seen the best of him yet give him a chance. The picks in the draft that high up are on talent then the next pick is a pick for needsIs Mitchell driving the rumoured smith interest or Mark McKenzie? Hard to see the list manager pushing it given other obvious needs.
The club also seemed to have its mind set on Watson a long way out - felt a bit of a Mitchell captains call (which may be way off the mark). But Mitchell has been pumping the ‘wiz’ up a lot.
A trade for Smith smells a bit like Wingard trade to be honest.

And who plays KPF?Smille + Baz would be a fantastic haul this off season
In 2025 make Taylor an offer GWS can't match and we're off to the races

We’ve been talking about needing outside class for 12 months. Is Mitchell driving the rumoured smith interest or Mark McKenzie? Hard to see the list manager pushing it given other obvious needs.

No you land the player who you’ve been into, particularly when they’re class like Baz.A kpf in the draft with first pick is a MUST! Can't see us acquiring one through trades. Baismith shouldn't be first option. İF the cards fall our way then yes , but there are bigger needs before him.
By the time we nab him, it would've been 2 years in the making. We’ve been talking about needing outside class for 12 months.
Go listen to McCartney on hawks insiders pod.
Smith makes complete sense.
Didn't won't him before his reco.By the time we nab him, it would've been 2 years in the making.
Behind Day, he'd be our 2nd most dynamic mid (IMO) & I don't think we have a mid with his speed.Didn't won't him before his reco. His worth has declined. Dogs can't afford him. We have the cap space but he must come cheap with regards trade capital. We have bigger, obvious list needs.
I agree he’s a good fit, a point of difference and amazing if he gets back anything like his 2021 form. But class? I associate class with things like poise and skill. He’s tough, quick and breaks the lines but his kicking is suspect from what I have seen, also wouldn’t he come to us to play again as an inside mid rather than mainly outside? I figured that would be our pitch. We’ve been talking about needing outside class for 12 months.

Staying at Saints. Are we still interested in Josh Battle?
