That's Rookie conception game right there. Gotta work out the dates, June, July the best time to get it on.

I have a Febuary and March baby.

All is not lost though, you should book in a C-section for just after the prelim.

My little fella was born right before the Brisbane match, and has a 11-2 W-L record as a Hawks fan. I like to think we timed it perfectly 😁

Does anyone know what happens if Trac breaks his contract and just walks out of the club with no destination. Other than the financials would it end his AFL career or would he be able to pick it up at later date.

Surely he would argue that Melbourne breached the contract due to medical negligence?

I haven't seen a player contract in full - but I reckon part of the deal is decent medical care.

Sure would. Good shop window
No way, I want all our players striving for a Win not boosting trying to boost their own value with stats or flashiness. Or the opposite adding extra pressure thinking they're out.

The reason Frost has been so good this year is because he's not getting the ball as much. Last year with Blank playing the lockdown no touches role Frost was intercepting, rebounding, running with it etc.. and he just doesn't have the composure for that.

Wait till after the grand final for players to announce they are coming.

Things I would like to see.

The AFL lawyers find that Melbourne breached their duty of care to Petracca regarding a safe workplace environment, both on and off-field.

His contract becomes null and void due to breach of contractual obligations, and an automatic FA.

He nominates Hawthorn.

High fives all round!

but as punishment Melbourne has to pay his salary for the duration of the contract

my wife is due on the day before Grand Final day...watching Hawthorn improve this much has caused great tension in the household

Congratulations - hope all goes well for you both (plus the new little one of course)!

Delay naming the kid - you'll need to see which one of our blokes kicks the sealer in the Grand Final before you name him or her............

Seriously - congrats.

I really can’t see how Carlton or Collingwood could afford to pay Petracca’s contract.
It would only come down to us and the saints? He’s said a big club so that rules out the saints.

Agreed on Carlton - granted if they traded out McKay then it would make it somewhat easier. Collingwood would have a lot of older players taking less now so I would gather they have some cap flexibility - they could always retool the deal and backend more for when ageing players like Pendles, Sidebottom etc are off the books. Collingwood's trade assets are where they come unstuck I feel.

Not that it means anything, but I did ask my mate Carro this morning about the whole trac situation.
She said I can’t possibly see how he goes back to Melbourne next season, it’s gotten far more serious than anyone at Melbourne had expected it. The unrest between himself and other senior staff members and players is too big to ignore. Every club in the land has gotten on the phone to his manager, it may just come down to who can offer the best deal for him.

If Melbourne / Carlton can convince McKay to move then the Blues are clearly best placed to do a deal otherwise i cant see how it gets done given the Camporeale Twins are both coming this draft.

Pies wouldn't have the draft capital, North and Tigers no-one would go near, Saints and Dogs too small for him it would seem. Essendon do have the 'big club' covered and probably have some assets to get a deal done (pick 8 plus plus).

Hawks an option on size but would cost more in trade than we are willing to pay id guess given our draft pick is likely to be 12 or higher.

I guess he's going to the gold coast then!

They've got the best draft hand and Melbourne won't be attracting ANY players this offseason except for total mercenaries

Based on how we have already hunted targets this year, we'd be sniffing around Trac management just for good due dilligence.

That being said, couldn't really care if we have a chance or not. Watching Melbourne do the biggest and fastest implosion since OceanGate .... well is highly entertaining.

It looks like the expected mass exodus from Richmond has begun in earnest with Bolton requesting a trade to the Dockers and Daniel Rioli wants to head to the Suns.
