You're being very kind to Brisbane.

Out in week one if they face the Blues in Melbourne for mine, and that's if they even get there.

tiger_tough who are you jumping?

Fremantle +2
Collingwoood +2
Gold Coast +2
St.Kilda +1
West Coast +1
Adelaide 0
RICHMOND
Hawthorn 0
North Melbourne -1

To finish outside bottom 4 you need to jump two clubs.
I think Freo, Pies, Suns and Saints I think have you covered.

So passing the Eagles (you will imo) and Crows will see you 5th bottom.
Not far off what's being projected.

only due to injury.

Imagine 6 wins and finish 16th
why?

Hawthorn won 7 and finished 16th last year
GWS in 2022 won 6 and finished 16th
Collingwood finished 17th with 6 wins in 2021

I've given you the Crows and Eagles. Without injury who else above on that list are you better than?
well we lost to blues by 5 after 3 blokes went off injured in the 2nd quarter including our fb and chb, We lost to saints by 7 without a bunch of players and we were within a goal of port in the 4th quarter with 6 forced changes plus we had 8 or 9 of the best 18 out V Eagles.

Give us say 2 of them conservatively and you wouldn't be asking that question.

Yep, no injuries and a bit of luck and we could’ve been 4-2 beating Carlton, Saints and WC. But that’s how close the comp is atm. Our record looks much worse than it is.

More power to you mate for having faith and backing in your team. Nothing wrong with that.
I don't see it but guess we'll see what happens.

I suppose finishing 13th last season and 12th in 2021 was also down to injuries and bad luck?
The coach losing the players and walking out half way through a season might’ve had an impact, dint you think think?

Dont you have anything better to do than obsess over Richmond all day every day?

Did I say something you disagree with though? it's not exactly a reach. I'm not saying we're finals quality, or as good as the cats. we're just better than the ladder shows, for obvious reasons.

Did I say something you disagree with though?
Couldn't tell you really. I asked who you thought you were better than, having already agreed on Adelaide and the Eagles.
Can't disagree with no comment made.

Will need counselling if this eventuates.

Got a similar feel to Geelong of the 90's for the Swans. At least you snagged a flag in 2012 though.
That's Bill Goggin's fault that.
Diesel didn't want much more to stay, and he himself has said the cats would have won multiple flags in the 90's had he stayed.

The dagger then digs into the ribs real hard as he gets a Norm Smith and premiership against us.

Quite true.
But we do also have to factor in the inflation as Diesel is on record saying it was only around 5k (1985) which would be closer to 20k and you could buy a house and land package for 70k in Geelong at that time.

Still, he was well worth it in hindsight.

Sat next to Bruce and Ian Nankervis one day in the old past players.

They tell the story that Bill McMaster as recruiter, board member (and later president) Ron Hovey, Michael Turner - as captain -, and others who I am forgetting all lobbied president Dr Threlfall to pay the money to keep him. Billy however was his most trusted person and was swayed into not paying the money.

Lions close to gone now for a shot at finals

Essendon genuinely in the mix although they are not far away from the winter, where their record June, July, August is appalling.
