2024 Ladder Predictions

I think it is more true for us than any other side. Hopefully Chol does really well and reduces our reliance on Lewis, but Sicily really is irreplaceable.

I agree.
He is similar to Tom Stewart but even better aerially.

Sicily's career path is going to mirror that of Scarlett's in my opinion. Held up the fort throughout majority of his career and finally tasted success at the very end.
By the time he reaches 31, 32 years of age, Hawthorn will be competing for another premiership.

Gosh I hope so! Lots to do but I like the direction Sam is taking us.

That ladder would be a remarkable changing of the guard.

3 premierships in the past 20 years shared between that entire rop 8.
17 in the bottom 10.

Equalization doing it's thing for every non northern club.

The handouts our northern neighbours receive is clearly working as intended.

Might be a sign of things to come.

Where does St Kilda’s improvement come from to take them to Top 4?

Yeah, yeah i know and we were supposed to finish bottom four this year too according to 90% (i had us 8th)

On that, how were we going backwards when according to all, Ross Lyon is a better coach then Ratten and would improve the team?

Parroting nuffies who would follow each other off a cliff face in single file is how i explain things.

So rolling onto next year, plenty of improvement if you know where to look yet i will not spell it out for the great unwashed masses!

Let 2024 do the talking.
What a cop out of a reply.

May as well have just said nothing.

I admire the optimism but its a bit humorous you are labeling others nuffies

Oh i am sorry, i shall talk up Essendon then to cheer you up!

The ladder next year, you must be thinking those new star recruits (see what i did there, tee hee hee) will propel you into finals victories next year and beyond.

They won't!
Not sure what any of this has to do with anything but ok… I see now that I’m wasting my breath.

Best of luck. 😂✌️

I don't see where you've improved the list over the summer enough to move up, you don't have a great draft hand and you've lost a few fringe type players(Billings, Gresham, Coffield).
Ross was lamenting the state of the list late in the year, and has only added Dow and Henry who aren't going to move the needle very much.
How are you pushing passed so many to make the top 4?

So about 10-14 for us seems the consensus. Feels a little low to me, but then I am a Cats fan. We had tons go wrong this year with a very hard draw. Then again, maybe the long-hoped-or cliff on BF will finally appear.
The cliff was 2023. It happened. The question is will you rebound on an easier draw and hopefully fewer injuries. I don't rate your midfield, but you have some serious talent in your forward and back 6, so a big bounce back is certainly possible, maybe even probable.

Could easily see them bounce back up. They had a difficult fixture this year and like you said they have a very impressive forward/defensive line. Guthrie didn't play most of the year who'm increases their midfield considerably, If Bruhn steps up a bit all of a sudden they are pushing for another Grand final. Hell Jeremy Cameron looked primed to break 100 goals early on in the season and then proceeded to play the rest of the year hampered by injury.

On form jezza is the best player in the league for mine.

We are not in a good era for key forwards and he is a class above.
