I would love for the club to get 2m Peter.

He doesn't have the mobility or speed to be a key forward for us, which he would be with Big O in the side, 80Fwd/20Ruck is not his go IMO.Hope it's OK to intrude but why wouldn't Henry Smith get a crack at Joe's spot?
I watched a lot of his junior footy for WWT where he played a fair bit forward/ruck and looked the goods even though he was a skinny beanpole that weighed 82kg wringing wet? Looks a pretty big unit now. Looking at it from the outside it looks like the Lions have brought him along patiently and it might be his time to shine?
I don't think I'm overreacting when I say I think he'll be the next Michael Voss.
Edit: but, you know, with more bikies.

Fair enough I was just thinking full forward chopping out in ruck when big Oscar needs a rest?I think he’s more of a ruck than a forward/ruck
A lot to put on a kid to play both
Roar deal pod just dropped. See if Dom mentions the mystery forward
Sam Darcy has requested a trade to the Lions.Roar deal pod just dropped. See if Dom mentions the mystery forward
Agree, but one miss among a lot of hits.Damn; was hoping it was only 2. What on earth were we thinking.
Jon Ralph is an idiot. Let the AFL mouthpiece do what he gets paid to do.
Someone should tag him on X with this golden nugget and ask how it feels to be getting it right every single time.

Fagan has no real say in who we bring in though it's more Daly and Dom who have final say from the VFL games i saw Lloyd looked the most capable to step up to AFL level dom saying we'd look at playing 2 rucks this morning on trade radio out of our 2 ruck big O is the more forward SaveyThis.
And , apart from the fact I think he is up to it, there is the importance of culture. Fagan has based our ethos in faith, and to bring in a mercenary in the place of someone that has been part of this team for 3-4 years does not sit well, IMO.
Smith is going to be better than a lot of people think.This.

Morris. If Smith is good enough he can surpass whoever we bring in
I would also like Smith to get a fair bit of match time next year, but the expectations on him and Morris need to be considered. They are both a couple of years off being the guns Brisbane need. In the mean time there is a need for a big body tall, who can pinch hit in the ruck, to back up for a dozen games or so. The younger talls will need managing during the year.Hope it's OK to intrude but why wouldn't Henry Smith get a crack at Joe's spot?

I can see that but one of the reasons that Morris came along so quickly was because he had champion players and good players all around him.I would also like Smith to get a fair bit of match time next year, but the expectations on him and Morris need to be considered.
