Had 6 contested marks in his last game. Averaged 2 goals a game this year

Kicked 17 goals in his last 5 vfl games

Just needs to provide a target and chop out in the ruck

He's an upgrade on what we have

Another option is a 30 year old who hasn't played for 8 years

I’m firmly in the “pick the best cheapie tall forward coverage we can” camp for next year. Could be a DFA or a cheap trade for future picks. We need coverage if Hipwood blows a groin or Smith doesn’t come on.

What would be the harm of Day replacing Sharp on the list? And getting extra bidding points?

We can't go into a season with 2 key forwards on our list

No he's not an upgrade, couldn't care less what he's done in the vfl, history says he can't handle the rigours of AFL footy. Which by the way played 5 games this year. He's a risk and liability IMO

they wouldn't be playing on Day They would likely go to Hipwood or Morris Wright would be more of a chance but we don't have the draft picks to get it done this season and we no long can trade our future first

We'd want to keep Hipwood up the ground. Plus he'll have to ruck and spend additional time on the bench because he doesn't have the endurance Daniher does and has OP

On that Joe video I posted earlier today when he was younger; I know he’s younger but given the mystique of Joe and the Roar Deals playful Joes Farm thing, with all that in mind, Joe playing FIFA just goes against everything I have in my mind about Joe lol

Watching our second half of semi and prelim finals

Answerth is excellent.

He makes our defence so much harder to play against

He also become much more proactive. We all know the kick before the Ah Chee Geelong goal. He also gets it several times before key goals. I think he has grown as a player.

I think one of our bigger great to have problems is fitting Kiddy back in. Our back 4 smalls was humming in the finals. We should be wary of breaking it up.

Ditto small forwards. Linc is such a weapon. But wtf does he replace?

With Taberner's injury history, if Hipwood blows a groin you can almost guarantee they'll keep each other company in the rehab room.

May as well grab Paul Peos or John Hutton out of retirement!

Our defensive balance would be thrown off with both Houston and zork. Don’t think there is much between them for how they’d influence our style of play this year.

Obviously Houston is younger and has another 5 good years so he’d be an asset. Not sure he’s much more of an upgrade above Kiddy though and you can only really have one pure attacking half back.

Whether Houston should have been a 2 time AA is a different question too.

I don't know who we bring in ,who they could replace or who's going to get injured or lose form.

All I know is that you can't have too many good players on your list. And after that not have too many durable players.

So if you can get hold of a good durable one I don't care what position he plays.

Vinyls are the hot thing right now almost regardless of age.

I don't think it is any chance of happening, the Full Cream boat has been tried and it has sailed.

Fullerton is not happy there, not played a game and Melbourne are looking for a new ruckman to help Gawn out, just cant see Fullerton getting a game. I also suggested he come back as 'cover' to the Lions.
