X - factor anyone
Still going to need more information. You can probably guess - you know, the ones who think they know everything and also think that anyone who disagrees with them is an idiot.
I don't think it's reasonable to talk so definitively about the height limitations of an 18 year old - Maybe he's 191.5cm now, and he grows an inch, and then all of a sudden is 194cm.Only 191cm though, so would just be a third tall at the next level.
What about his SA comrade Charlie West?Yep. My name based recruiting criteria has him number 1. It's a footballer's name. But I just read that he's friends with Camporeals twerps, so we may have to pass.
you like ,Vinnie?I don't think it's reasonable to talk so definitively about the height limitations of an 18 year old - Maybe he's 191.5cm now, and he grows an inch, and then all of a sudden is 194cm.
Height limitation is erased at that point, but you've passed on him because he's too short. Charlie Curnow was 191cm when he was drafted and is 195cm now.
This kid has something about him, but I doubt he makes it to our selections.
Seems like a talent. That clip in the video of him sticking one hand out and reeling in the mark is just not something your average dud footballer does all that often. Particularly not in the course of kicking a casual 6.you like ,Vinnie?
That’s the sort of performance Hine rates.Bailey kicked 6 in the GF, would need a bit of development but has some tricks
I am pretty excited, hope he comes to us, the later he does the better. He is a great mark, which I think is rarer than people realise and I am sure he could apply that to the back line as well if needed.I wouldn't get to exited by Bailey McKenzie, not big enough for a KP and not nimble enough for a third tall or flank. He's also incredibly slow so I doubt clubs will bother.
Maybe. Although he'd sound more like a footballer if his parents called him Scotty. What about his SA comrade Charlie West?
Yeah, he drafted a kid who kicked 10 in a GF.That’s the sort of performance Hine rates.
In contention for Coleman (or on track) and flagged without going too far back:Strangely enough many of the Coleman contenders most years haven’t got premiership medallions to their name
You can add tim Membrey next yearIn contention for Coleman (or on track) and flagged without going too far back:
2024 J.Daniher Flag 51.54 (wildly inaccurate kicking)
2022 J.Cameron Flag 65.37.
2019 T.Lynch Flag 63.31.
2018 J.Kennedy Flag 43.20 from 14 games (injuries).
2017 Flag J.Reiwoldt 54.37.
Its a bit of a strange myth being purported these days. Almost ignoring the impact to suite a narrative style posts.
Carl - a draft strategy you would use given our current selections ?I wouldn't get to exited by Bailey McKenzie, not big enough for a KP and not nimble enough for a third tall or flank. He's also incredibly slow so I doubt clubs will bother.
good player Mraz but terrible kicking apparentlyDidn't Scharenberg have navicular issues during his draft year ? If so , think we probably will steer clear of Noah Mraz.
If they read this board they'll never again pass on a key back with terrible kicking. That was Aaron Naughton.good player Mraz but terrible kicking apparently

Reads well.I would be quite interested in Kayle Gerreyn. My type of forward.
I should change my post from “ often” to “as often as not”.In contention for Coleman (or on track) and flagged without going too far back:

Checkers ground level game is close to best in the business for a key forward. The number of goals he kicks from less than ten metres using brawn brains ( EDIT, add the word pace) and an immovable centre of gravity is an underrated feature of his game. Anybody who can replicate the strength that checkers has in his thighs and glutes with skill to match is worth looking atReads well.
Realistically, if we we're going kpf at our pick range, we've got the prototypes in the team - the kind who slip down the draft order.
McStay - a big bloke who contests and can clunk a mark, but isn't athletically impressive.
Checkers - undersized but competes in the air and has a ground level game to go with it.
I really don't want the guy who blitzed them in the combine sprints.
Yes. They were fixed in his first year with us and he never had issues again, much the same as when Josh Thomas had the same surgery.Didn't Scharenberg have navicular issues during his draft year ? If so , think we probably will steer clear of Noah Mraz.
