I feel filthy saying this.

But.

Go Ducks
Im not sure about the game. Im not high on Oregon, but also we havent seen Ohio St tested. Buckeyes should win easy if they are a real top 4 team

Nice to see the Red River Rivalry start at a decent time.

Just havin a look it’s started at 12noon for the last 25yrs, not sure before that. I thought they started the game early so the students weren’t all drunk before kickoff…

I think it's more about the carnival around the cotton bowl.

Ohio State heavily favored by the bookies … hopefully being played at Autzen helps the Ducks get over them

Not big on the Ducks either side of the ball.

But also Ohio St haven't played anyone yet.

Miami the luckiest 6-0 team I’ve ever seen.

I’m a ducks fan and I’m not convinced either, that’s why I’m glad they get a true test to get a better gauge of where we’re at
Ducks were lucky to escape the Boise game. I'm I don't like what I've seen from Gabriel. They probably still make the playoffs with a loss because other then Illinois and Michigan they will have no troubles the rest of the year and a 2 loss ducks team will be enough to make the top 12

The most interesting part of the game is Chip Kelly being the new Ohio St OC. It's a bigger test for Ohio St they lose and they won't beat the pretenders label

Nah 2020 BYU season.

Weakest schedule BYU had since 1984

Assault on an unborn child. Words can not describe how vile that is.

Legit I think Georgia has a worse culture then the Urban Myer Florida teams

So a bunch of info about "project rudy" came out overnight. and holy shit its bad.

Project Rudy is built on two somewhat simple concepts to increase revenue from television networks and corporate sponsors.

(1) Arrange more games between power conference programs by eliminating all games against Group of Five and FCS opponents; expanding the playoffs; and pitting blue-blood powers more often against one another.

(2) Consolidate the media rights of the 70 schools under one agreement, instead of the current structure of five different packages (one for each power league and Notre Dame).

the 70 power 4 schools break away and join together, sign a TV deal together broken down like this. with private equity funding and taking a cut, TV networks would buy a part of the "league" with the TV rights

- Tier 1: the top 16 schools earn per-school revenue projections from $130 million in Year 4, escalating to $250 million in Year 12 (double the SEC and Big Ten’s current distribution rate).

- Tier 2: the next 22 schools earn revenue of $60-$110 million (similar to the SEC and Big Ten current rates).

- Tier 3: the last 32 schools earn projections of $30-$60 million (similar to the Big 12 and ACC rates).

where teams move up and down based on performance [one version had 8 teams that could never drop out of T1]

The growth is derived from holding 1.5 times more “marquee” games (playoffs, top bowls) and three times more “quality” games (rivalries and blue-blood matchups); while eliminating games against non-power opponents (currently 18% of FBS scheduling).

Im not sure if it would lead back to regional divisions ie South, Northeast, West coast and central. but wow it looks bad. and they are using lines like "well the more TV money is better because you can fund non revenue sports easier]

There's a classic clip when Matthew McConaughey throws his hat after OU score late and win 😂
