No chance this happens. The reason we were trying to split was to get him with a lower pick. Therefore no pick swap, then no Tauru to North. If Lalor went 1 I would expect North to select one of FOS/Smith/ Langford/Draper.

Don't mind the Trainor pick for the Tigers, would round out our talls with Balta and Gibcus. Miller, Young and Blight as backup I suppose.

We do have a need for a classy, high half forward who can be precise with their kicking, so Berry would have fit the bill there.

A defensive winger who can also provide an attacking presence with ball delivery would've been handy too, thinking Lindsay here.

There is about as much chance of North using Pick 2 on Tauru as there is on WC using Pick 3 on a Carlton DFA.
