Not touching Macrae or Smith unless they sack Crazy Bevo.
Contract year for 23 year old Bazlenka, priced at 80. Even if Bevo's still in charge, that's good enough for me.

In a weak forward line, 90-95 will be enough for F5-F6 (worst case).

Maybe, he gets too sad to play matches sometimes though. Might get worse next year if he doesn't get a trade.

You could be right though, not looking like there will be much to choose from in the forwards.

Might have to pick some midpricers!

Ideally I'd have one of Daicos or Sicily at D1
I'm keen on Walsh as an underpriced premo, and Day as a breakout contender
TGreen is the next $600k+ MID premo I'd take if I had a spot
F4 and F5 will be interesting

2024 is going to be fun!

FFS Steve, now I'm going to have to make spreadsheet!

Anyone think Dimma is gonna make Noah Anderson a 120+ stud? Just got this feeling.

Doubt I'd get away with that forward line.

Maybe. I'd say Noah can go 110+ next year, not sure his DE is good enough for 120+ though. If Flanders stays he's probably a no.

Not even sure on Touk for the same reason (Flanders stealing points).

Rowell might be the one to pick from the Suns tbh.

Will the Horny man still be a M\F next year?

If so I reckon he could be worth a punt as a forward.
Passes the eye test, I always see him forward. He's a lock for me if he's FWD eligible.

Why would the Swans want Matt Crouch when they have Parker, Gulden, Warner, Mills, Rowbottom and Sheldrick? Strange...

PLAN to not play, then end up playing.
PLAN to make a good team, then make a s**t team.
PLAN to hold trades, then blow them.
Plan not to do a Roughy then Roughy Laird out and back in again. :moustache:

Dimma's game plan hasn't translated to SC points since 2012.
Lids 116.6, Cotch 116.2 & Tuck 114.6, that trio were M7-9 that year.
Definitely has the cattle to replicate it, will be interesting to watch how he goes about it.
Think I'll avoid them all to start.

Even Flanders?

So there's 2 options with the forward line:

1) old school:
Take ~$500k players averaging 90-95 as your premos/keepers (Bolton, Moore, Greene, etc). Expect a reduced FWD line premo average (how it was a few years ago, where 90-95 average was enough). Hope that we don't get too many DPP changes that bring studs to the forward line.
eg. Bolton, Moore, Flanders, Smith, rookie x4 (total spend = $2.5 mill-ish)
95 + 90 + 90 + 90 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 (+ 50) = 615 (in brackets is rookie on another line)

or

2) weak forward line:
Start with a weaker and cheaper FWD line, expecting to make 4 upgrades, then wait for the inevitable DPP changes, and hope the FWD line gets some 100+ average premos.
eg. Flanders, Smith, ~$300k, ~$250k, ~$200k, rookie x3 (total spend = $2 mill-ish)
90 + 90 + 70 + 65 + 60 + 50 + 50 + 50 (+ 110) = 635 (in brackets is a premo on another line)

Gonna end up priced at 480 - 490k isn't he? Don't think he's an absolute gimme at that price, won't get too far out of hand if he pops.
Is he even staying at GC?

Not worth looking into too much until trade period is wrapped up anyways.

Flanders supposedly close to a 4 year deal to stay at the Suns. Not sure if that's a good thing or not SC wise. Dimma's style didn't produce good SC mid's at Richmond. But he didn't tag either so that might make Touk worth it.

Jeremy Sharp going to Freo apparently. Could be next years Brodie. Price should be $150k-ish.
