If he gets Will Days old role as Day plays mostly midfield now that’s a lock. He’s a great user of the ball and he will get lots of chances on that hawks team
Don't they already have Impey, Seamus and Weddle? Add Sicily as the General and kick-in man, plus Jiath who should return, and he loves a run off half back.

Would almost have enough to start a team like this:think:

You simply can't go THAT light up top. If a couple cheapies get dropped, you're finished.

Also forward rookies are typically trash. Often throw up 20s and 30s.

Gotta take 1 reliable player (a $500k bloke, or Flanders, or Bazlenka), then mid pricers and a couple rookies.

Turn your D4 or D5 into F1 and I reckon it'll be very feasible next year.

I sort of agree but Flanders or Bazlenka will hardly be locks at $500k
The forward line will be the hardest line to start next year for sure.

Callum Mills fkd his shoulder wrestling with a team mate
Surgery
Already in doubt for Rd1

I'd rather take a Baz or Flanders and hope they go 90+, than take a $500k player that will go 90 (Greene, Moore, etc). Not only are they cheaper, but higher potential.

I think Baz, in his contract year, after a poor season, injuries and suspensions over the last couple of years, will go bang. People have forgotten he's a gun, he'll have a point to prove. He doesn't need CBAs, just needs to play wing and have high TOG%.

if mills is out do any of the other swans midfielders present value?

parker might be made to play forward more next year too - he looked decent playing more there in the round 24 game against melbourne

warner turns 23 next year and is priced at 100 from 53% cba's - might be a breakout season on the cards for him next year

Sheldrick would be the one we'd want to benefit from an SC perspective I'd think.

Warner's a decent shout – might get a slight uptick from having a better ruck, too. Not sure his disposal efficiency will get him into that 110+ range that we desire (as he's not a massive accumulator), but there should be some linear improvement you'd imagine.

Sheldrick becomes a whole lot more enticing too. Approx $330K

I might be thinking of someone else, but isn't Warner very susceptible to a tag?

Suppose Gulden will get attention first for the Swans though.

Yeah, he is a bit. Not a big factor in my watchlist currently, but could definitely see him upping his output.

Oh yeah, good point.

Easy pass at that price then.

Ah yep, thought he was gonna be fwd too. Definite skip on him then.
