Did Tom De Koning play enough forward sharing ruck with pittonet to get dpp next year?

Not 2024 related but I thought Dunkley had a better season than 4 Brownlow votes.
For sure. It'll be interesting to see who wins their BnF.

if mills is out do any of the other swans midfielders present value?

parker might be made to play forward more next year too - he looked decent playing more there in the round 24 game against melbourne

warner turns 23 next year and is priced at 100 from 53% cba's - might be a breakout season on the cards for him next year
revisiting my post now with the news jordon has nominated sydney, i wonder if he could be a reasonable midpricer option. do not really think much of him as a player but will be priced at around 275k~ from a 50 average this year. averaged around 75 in 2022 so there is definite upside at the price. would think he is moving for more opportunity and might slot in as an inside mid at sydney

seems like his best role is kind of the one hewett plays at carlton as that accountable defensive mid to allow guys like warner and gulden to flourish. rowbottom kind of already plays that role at sydney though

Agree with all of that. The Sydney midfield even without Mills rolling through there seems pretty strong still.

  • Gulden
  • Warner
  • Parker
  • Rowbottom
  • Papley (surprising amount of CBAs)
  • Sheldrick

Looks like Jordan played mainly wing in 2022, and was pushed out by Hunter this year. Maybe that's the role he's going to get?

In Terms of midpricers here’s some I’m looking at

FWD - 350ish Bailey Smith. Fallen premium previously averaged 100 hope for a rebound

FWD - Peter Wright - finished season 349k. Has finished above 500k before at Essendon 2 years ago when they had a functioning forward line. Key forward can kick a big bag and be an early captain option vs the right matchup

FWD - Jamarra - priced around 320. Same as above if Dogs as going well he’s going to get some big hauls

MID - Ginbey WCE- priced around 300 was pretty good when playing on ball.

Mid - Wardlaw

Mid- Mathew Johnson

Mid - Bailey Humphrey

Mid - Dylan Sheil 297k + likely discount - Lock if rumours are true and he’s at St Kilda. Would rather start with him due to injury history.

MID/FWD Dev Rob - new team + guaranteed minutes . Low price

mid/fwd Tyler Brockman - possible new team new role

I suppose the good thing is most are forwards. If I spend 2M on 6 midprice forwards + say 1.5M on Rucks that leaves approximately 6M for on field Mid + Def. I’d be pretty happy with that

Bazlenka will be ~$450k.

I'll still start him as my F1 or F2.

Was just going off where they finished the season. Will be interesting to see next years pricing
Price is based off average.

Check @bricemitchell on Twitter. He's a wizard, and he's predicted a heap of prices for next season. He's usually very close.

Yeah good point. I think it’s roughly 10 points = 50k and then + 50k starting so 100 av =550 or something like that

Then there’s discounts based on games missed for injury

Wouldn't stress too much about the forward line yet, no doubt a few options will present.

Macrae priced @ 100 is the one I'm watching, any sign Crazy Bevo is on the correct meds and is going to use him properly and he's a lock.
The club need some proper bloody assistants. Get in a McQualter and Barlow type and hopefully Bevo sees sense.

Agreed, much better than Neale especially early on.
So much of it is hype. Anyone can see Cerra was better than Cripps this year for example.

Anyone that punts should be on Daicos for next year, he's a good player, but has the full hype machine behind him.

Obese Arachnid toxic Kadog South of the Yarra Chronz Caztheconquerer and anyone else I'm forgetting - off-topic, but what a win 😍
Commiserations to Lions posters, rough as guts to lose like that.
Pendles 4 PM , Captain coach out there😍
Feel free to delete if inappropriate, mod squad.
Congrats fella's. Pies been the best team for most of the year, well deserved win.

Charlie Constable retiring

Players I'm keeping an eye on during trade period. More often going for more opportunities.

  • D. Robertsen (West Coast rumours)
  • Z Fisher (North - replace Ziebell / Halls role?)
  • P Dow
  • J Jordan (Sydney bound)
  • Grundy (likewise)
  • J Billings (probably not relevant but one to watch)
  • Coffield
  • J Sweet

Not as many out and out stars moving this year, but still some to watch.
