Billings, reckon Jordon is mainly wing for Sydney.
The other consideration for me is, if I end up selecting Adams ....I really can't have both Adams & Jordon in my FWDs, with the Byes .....unless of course they rip round 0

I took one too many pill

Grundy vs Xerri

Grundy - solo ruck, but has he returned to his best?
X - lots of involvements, but too many Roos
I took both those two and left English and Gawn alone

Yeah on reflection I think I'll just do away with Gibcus so I can afford both. :thumbsu:

I'm Starting to think McKercher M6, Sanders M7 and Hustwaite M8 could be the best structure for the mids. I think all 3 will score well enough.

Yep, though I'm thinking of running Martin and Wardlaw in M5/6.

Jye Clark looks like a promising midfield bench option too

Honestly we're looking good for mid and fwd rookies this year.

We just need one or two more sub 124k defenders to put their hand up so we don't need to run multiple junior KPDs.

Going by the preseason reports, I would think Massimo gets pushed out by Day before Hustwaite going on current form.

Hawks fans?

Massimo is Half back/Wing where Day is a Midfielder now.

Decent call this. Next game will tell us more. Both the hawks and there opposition will likely run best 22s. Kids get a run for development in the first game usually. So we will have a better idea of
a. His role and js and
b. How he competes vs a full opposition midfield.
I wouldn't be completely changing structure off a decent game in which he probably played against some kids and may not even get that level of game time when the season starts.

Except Day won't be back for a few weeks?

That's fine. The next game will give us more valuable scores.
In the end it's going to be something like
HH and say Stewart vs gibcus and say serong.
Changing structure is not as simple as one rookie vs another. The second game is always a better example of full strength sides.
