Sinclair will be a loss but we are far better to have him at 100% and able to play out the majority of the season, than worrying about the first game or two. Smarter clubs treat the season as a marathon not a sprint.

Would love for Arie to grow to 196cm plus, allowing him to basically qualify as a key defender. Being 193-194cm is an awkward height if you don't have the physical gifts to play on smalls and talls.

I understand he probably has some work to do in regards to one-on-one defending, but if he gets that to good level, I cant see why he doesn't forge a reasonable AFL career.

May is 193cm. If you are good enough it doesn't matter. Probably more to do with how powerful his body gets. He looks naturally solidly built at least. They usually frame out well. If we can get Van Es or Keeler to turn into solid talls so we have cover for really tall forwards we should be right if Arie stays around that height and plays a more intercepting role.

Only concern is lack of playing in the pre season. Same as crouch
