IIRC he has about 40,000 subscribers, I wont be watching it again either.I unsubscribed from his vlogs a few months ago after the Lions v Blues game in Melbourne when he was getting trollied and even before then was getting tired of his schtick. I’m sure he has a massive audience, but I’m just not it anymore.
70 grand raised or thereabouts.Actually speaking of which, did anyone hear how the Berry lads went running their marathon? Fair effort.

Think he got the wrong info. Time trials are scheduled for Saturday.Craig Starcevich after the AFLW grand final said that the boys were doing their 2k time trial on the next day which would have been Monday.
my thoughts: people pay too much attn to the time trial and it has limited applications to endurance in football. neale has never been a top performer in time trials yet is one of the highest TOG% and centre bounce attendance midfielders in the game. andrews is similarly not known for his time trial results but is consistently in our highest players for distance tracked in a game. the endurance required to run a good 2km time might be broadly applicable to other aspects of footy, but in rayners case id be more interested in how many times he can repeat a sprint effort over the course of a game for example. unless youre a wingman i think its not really too important.
semi-related: sharp looks like hes put on mass. heres hoping he can break into the b22 next season. i was a doubter previously but thought he used his running pretty well to get into good positions when given a game this year. fletcher playing skinny side and sharp playing fat side wing would be a good combination for us.
I saw a news article where they interviewed Cam about Will being the missing piece to our flag or something along those lines. I remember thinking, Cam, it’s you bruh.
I tend to think the time trials are more reflection of what work the players have been putting in over the off-season. I think you can do a quick comparison between previous seasons time trials in order to determine how they’ve worked in the time off so I think time trials are very useful tool, in keeping track of a player and their commitment to their craft. For example, if a players time trial results are slower substantially slower than previous years that probably means they haven’t been putting in the time required.my thoughts: people pay too much attn to the time trial and it has limited applications to endurance in football. neale has never been a top performer in time trials yet is one of the highest TOG% and centre bounce attendance midfielders in the game. andrews is similarly not known for his time trial results but is consistently in our highest players for distance tracked in a game. the endurance required to run a good 2km time might be broadly applicable to other aspects of footy, but in rayners case id be more interested in how many times he can repeat a sprint effort over the course of a game for example. unless youre a wingman i think its not really too important.

Not true!Four things in life are certain:
Death
Taxes
BRAB robbing people at Nerang station
&
Cam Rayner winning us a flag.
I stood next to Cam at Brisbane airport about 3 weeks ago now when i was flying to Darwin he got on a flight to Melbourne - I would describe him then as a "lean mean running machine" he looked really fit and defined.
I saw a bit about it on the news a couple of times, they finished up at a local oval where they come from I think it was - the think that surprised me, and they were running without shirts, is how heavily strapped Berry's shoulder was just to run. It looked like match day strapping he needed just for the running action through one of his shoulders.Actually speaking of which, did anyone hear how the Berry lads went running their marathon? I hope that marathon hasn't delayed the healing or caused any further damage to that shoulder. It's a lot of running and jarring if it's just not quite right. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a dumb decision in the long run. I appreciate the cause and the funds raised was amazing, I hope it doesn't hurt his season.I saw a bit about it on the news a couple of times, they finished up at a local oval where they come from I think it was - the think that surprised me, and they were running without shirts, is how heavily strapped Berry's shoulder was just to run. as others have said the TT seems to not be crucial for everyone more about players such as Rayner and perhaps Bailey to show they have made running a real priority.my thoughts: people pay too much attn to the time trial and it has limited applications to endurance in football. neale has never been a top performer in time trials yet is one of the highest TOG% and centre bounce attendance midfielders in the game. andrews is similarly not known for his time trial results but is consistently in our highest players for distance tracked in a game. the endurance required to run a good 2km time might be broadly applicable to other aspects of footy, but in rayners case id be more interested in how many times he can repeat a sprint effort over the course of a game for example. unless youre a wingman i think its not really too important.

I also think our spread in attack can mprove as well , or could or I think we need to.as others have said the TT seems to not be crucial for everyone more about players such as Rayner and perhaps Bailey to show they have made running a real priority.
Totally agree re Sharp, i was a bit iffy on him until his latest stint in the seniors. I thought he looked much improved. 2022 he had 3/5/7/10 possessions with no goals. This year he went 13/17/10 and kicked 2 goals. Just looked like he was figuring out senior football and getting some confidence about when to back himself, and his disposal had improved. He was always a project player so that instant debut perhaps created undue expectations. In his fourth season now, had 3 pre-seasons, i can definitely see him breaking in to the side, and could be a massive asset with his run. He is wasted as a sub because his real weapon will be running just as hard in red time as he does for the rest of the game. I hope he is being groomed as a real 2-way runner that helps us improves our defensive spread. If you think about our midfield mix, Neale, Bailey, Clugga and Rayner are all very much focused on attack. Berry and Dunkley probably the best at going the other way, one more in that mix could help balance us.
It’s been very noticeable in all the preseason photos, including today’s, how heavily strapped it is.I saw a bit about it on the news a couple of times, they finished up at a local oval where they come from I think it was - the think that surprised me, and they were running without shirts, is how heavily strapped Berry's shoulder was just to run. He has mentioned before that he can’t do some exercises in the gym dues to his shoulders. It’s been very noticeable in all the preseason photos, including today’s, how heavily strapped it is.
It’s also quite noticeable how much smaller Berry is through the shoulders, compared to Dunkley.
