Not an overly concerning result other than the annoyance of not banking 4 points and if we keep letting games slip like this it will hurt us in the hunt for top 4 towards the end of the year.

Agreed. They have a very healthy list and their skill level is through the roof. Last year was a transition period for them. As far as I’m concerned, they’re the premiership favourite.

Given that, and given we threw away multiple opportunities, and given we’re short a few decent players, I’m feeling positive. Although that will not be the case if we lose to the Filth next week.

Our defence is, however, a major concern. We’ve been leaking goals for three weeks. We tighten that by 10% and we win all three games.

I like Durds and he’ll cop it but he’s not a player that thrives under pressure. More talented than Owies but Owies does the basics better. Really missing Motlop there.

Ollie needs a spell. Voss persisting but in these crucial upcoming games I’d rather he given the sub vest or a spell in the 2s. He’s a long term blue but badly out of touch.

Backline missing Gov and Saad. Weitering looks like he has no confidence in Young as his 2IC.

The double ruck is working well. Could’ve easily had a couple goals next to TDK’s name but instead ends up with 0.3.

Cerra will be a boost and if Gov is on the 1 instead of 2 week side of his timeframe for return, then we’ll be a little bit more solid down back.
