Agreed. They have a very healthy list and their skill level is through the roof. Last year was a transition period for them. As far as I’m concerned, they’re the premiership favourite.

Given that, and given we threw away multiple opportunities, and given we’re short a few decent players, I’m feeling positive. Although that will not be the case if we lose to the Filth next week.

Our defence is, however, a major concern. We’ve been leaking goals for three weeks. We tighten that by 10% and we win all three games.

Lets not get carried away they cant win clearances and have to rely on opposition using the ball poorly, that just aint happening 4 games in a row when the whips are cracking.

I'd be pretty disappointed if we are not putting them away early if we are playing well and taking our chances.

We seem to struggle getting space in the forward line. My kingdom for a lead, mark and easy shot on goal. We kicked ourselves out of it.

General field kicking and goal kicking not up to AFL standard and hasn't been for years and that skill is more important now than it's ever been. Probably the worst "bang for buck" side in the league. No players who can break a line either is a concern.

They are all going to be good players but Ollie, Binns, Cowan and Carrol are not quite ready for a game of that pressure. Replace them with 4 of the injured players and we are in this year up to our eye balls.

They had one player out of their 23 with less 50 games experience. We had 8 players with less than 50 games experience - over a third of the side. Durdin, Kemp, Hollands, Hollands, Boyd, Carroll, Cowan, Binns. And we all know our injury list.

The team we sent out there today fought it right to the teeth with the current best in the league fielding pretty much their best side.

I thought some of our more experienced players were shocking today.

Just a question for discussion; on a day like today when we are struggling for forward 50 cohesion, why to put Curnow on a wing?

IMHO, it was too predictable, so bring Charlie up the field and try and get some of those bullet kicks coming into the forward 50?

It certainly did. We got junk time goals when the game was done. Made it look closer than it was

Rubbish - we missed so many easy set shots. When exactly was this junk time?

While missing shots hurt us, them kicking 119 from 45 entries hurt us far, far more. We need to improve our ability to stop their scoring, even if that means giving away free kicks rather than letting them mark unopposed.

An angry opponent whose ears are ringing is more likely to miss than one that's just marked unopposed.

we've got too many outs from our defence group - it hurt us on that point

cowan kemp young and even zac williams were on shaky ground - lots of errors amongst them but again if we kicked better it wouldnt have mattered in the end.

We did this after half time and the momentum swung our way - need to be smarter the way we use Charlie and H

I think we need some better quality smalls too - look at stengles for them - so clean and so much composure
