Would like to see Binns in for Fantasia. Can’t imagine Martin would be fit enough yet for a game of this calibre.
Young out for Gov.
Hollands for someone. I’d drop Williams but I bet he won’t be dropped.
I would give Binns 6 games but don't put your house in Binns making it at afl. Light, average disposal.

I'd give Binns games based on readiness for the next level, not before, nor just to see if he is capable of stepping up

Nothing wrong with players developing at VFL level and when they have a development rise, give them a block of games to see if they can handle the tempo

If they can't, send them back to continue to work on their deficiencies

Many will make the transition, many won't

Once again my original post was to show the thin margin between success and failure in that last minute play only.

Plenty of other questions there, hoping that you get some answers for them from someone.
Your original response was to spin that Walsh's decision wasn't wrong. Then that the margins are tight... Walsh decision was wrong. So were many others.

No it wasn't. My original response was to a different poster regarding how thin the margins were between success and failure.

I said that in a parallel universe Cerra takes the ball and hands off to an umarked Walsh who runs and carries before unloading to whoever Frampton was on who kicks the 8th goal that Frampton had kicked on him for the night.

I passed no judgement on Walsh or his positioning.

Doubt Voss and co will have the courage to go one ruck vs the monster that is Gawn but would love for them to give it a go again.

Was a bold decision to start two rucks, and while it’s improved elements of our game, I still think the team benefits more overall from a different structure.

Please no to Binns - needs more time - especially against the big bods of Melbourne.

Didn't he win the reserves B&F?
So what's the next level?
Surely that gets him a starting guernsey for a game. Can't be worse than fantasia.

Of course he can be , he's not ready yet. Reserves B&F means very little, didn't Gibbons win two VFL best and fairest awards? Let him continue to develop. No way he should play against Melbourne.

By the way, I wouldn't have Fantasia in the team either.

Binns should be played against a North/Hawthorn if he is to play. That was the wrong game to debut him. I hate a sub debut. He needs to work through the nerves etc.
Agree with you but to be fair he only got the call up at the last minute to replace Fantasia. Might not have been planned that way as he was just a hold over.
