Dunno if its already been mentioned here but reporter asked Vossy about plans for the bye, and was very pleasing to hear Vossy reply that we have planned for this after studying the draw. We have done an intentional heavy 6 week block of training and now we plan to freshen over the bye.......and then get stuck into the season.

Impressive to be 2-0 while training heavy and being severely undermanned. Great depth and great committment.

2024 has started great with 8 hard earned points registered.

Yeah, we can fall over the line for every game up to the Grand Final and I don’t care. As long as we play a solid game for the big dance to really feel the win .

Back home from the MCG. Happy with the win. Obviously, a truckload of work to do.
Didn't lock it in our forward line anywhere near the level that is expected of us.
However, despite how close it was, somehow I always felt a certain level of calm about knowing somehow we were going to win. Shows either a lot of maturity in regards to on-field leadership and situational analysis or coaching principles, or potentially both.

Rest up and get some players back and hopefully we will see the improvement necessary.
Still, 2-0. Take that any day of the week.

TDK huge in the last quarter.
Harry had another fantastic performance. Very proud of him to regain some form.
Crippa was a machine tonight, some of those 21 contested possessions were top shelf, that dish out to Cez for his goal, superb.
Gov was also fantastic all night, he and Kemp really will flourish even more when Weiters returns which is exciting to think about.
Carroll, I am very impressed at the minute. Keep going, Bot.

We are starting to evolve with our transition. But boy, did we scathe through tonight though. Take the 4 pts and run. We lacked good decision making at pivotal times and rushed our ball use. The bye will be good to help get some best 23 players back in.

Lastly, they can suck eggs. What a moaning, bitching bunch of supporters. Enjoy the tears. Up the Baggers.

Was far from pretty but I'll take the win. It should have been close to sewn up by half time and we made plenty of mistakes throughout the match but I'm sure the boys will take a lot out of tonight's game. Mainly composure, slowing down when needed and making the most of our opportunities.

I'd much rather be learning and winning than learning and losing.
