Can’t imagine JJ going to Stewart, he will get Miers I would think. Stewart is a bit off I reckon, with our three mobile talls if they spend the fwd line Stewart will be a busy boy. Then the mid field scoring options on top and we could be in a for a good day out.
Stewart has been "a bit off" because opposition teams have discovered a way to curb his influence - stick a JJ type on him.

Nathan Buckley made exactly that point on SEN this morning.

I can't see JJ going anywhere other than Stewart.

I don't know that Jordon's an ideal match-up for Stewart though. He's faired well against hard-running ground level types, whereas Stewart is most dangerous aerially.

I wonder if Hayward might be able to do more of a job on Stewart and then free Jordon up to play on one of Holmes or Tuohy, who have both been dangerous for Geelong with their rebounding work.

JJ to the round the corner bloke.

I think Jordon has to go to Holmes. extremely influential at half back and is a huge metres gained player.

We seem to have troubles against big contested midfields so Geelong will be another good test with their bigger bodies.

We have to run them to the ground and cannot let them dictate play defensively. They will do their best to clog up the corridor and force us long where they have their strengths in intercepting with Kolo, Henry and Stewart. Our 3 talls have to keep them accountable.

We owe Geelong tbh. I hope we can do
The job next Sunday.

Nobody called Gryan can possibly be worthy of getting JJ’ed.

Every team has sent a defensive forward to Stewart if recent weeks - no way we don’t do the same.

If it’s not JJ then who?

caesar88 has suggested Hayward - but I’ve never seen Hayward play a highly accountable role.

It’s certainly not Logan, Armatey or McL.

And there’s no Fox.

So to me - it seems like it has to be JJ.

Hayward has played a defensive role quite a few times on an attacking defender

Confident about this one, honestly won't be surprised if the Cats miss the 8, that midfield is horrific without Danger and don't even think he's a remote hope at all of coming back.

Just don't bomb it to Stewart all night please I'll lose my hair if that happens.

Looks fantastic forecast now.

*goes to show you how much these weather models swing
** I think you should be fine.

Forecast is bad enough a day out let alone 2 weeks
