You know what's interesting that I've only realised from this post, is that I think the key to the old logo is actually the beak, not the feathers.

Using the gather round beak makes it look a lot less robotic and more in line with the original club logo

North have picks 2, 22, 40, 58 and 64. They want to trade in Darling plus a couple of others. As far as I know they aren't doing any trades out or losing any free agents. They're not using pick 2 on Dodson, so either they're splitting 2 or 22 is what we'll have to beat.

Not saying they're not looking at him, but why are the team with one of the best rucks in the league looking to spend a pick in the low 20s on a ruckman? Xerri is 25.

Current logo is horrible and that is not much better, but some slight tweaks and it could be alright. It’s just the wings that are atrocious for me.

Cumming, Draper, Logo???

Why would anyone believe anything pumped out by the media, let alone get outraged on social media about dodgy rumours?

I will believe who is/isn’t coming to the Crows when they are sitting in a press conference in a Crows jumper.
Didn’t you say we were losing Keane and not getting Cumming?

The latest whispers from West Lakes.

The Good News; We will take pick 4, pick 25 and pick 42 to the draft. We expect Welsh will be (well) below pick 25 so pick 4, pick 25 and Welsh.

The Bad News;
Oliver - No
Pickett - No
Petracca - Never in the hunt
Lukosius - No
Rosas - No
Perryman - No
Cumming - No

The Ugly;
Only 4 changes to the list
Keane (R) - Gone
Parnell (R) - Gone
Hamill (R) - Gone
McHenry - Gone
No trade interest in Gollant, Berry, Schoenberg and Himmelberg. Gollant and Himmelberg move to the Rookie list on a 1 year contract.

The Diabolical;
Melbourne still want pick 25 for ANB but we are holding firm. Collingwood won’t give up pick 32 for Keane and are offering pick 42. We might have to give up our F2 for ANB. Worst case scenario is the ANB deal falls through and we keep Ned on the list for another year.

Uncontracted players (Parnell, Hamill, Gollant, Himmelberg, Burgess and McHenry) are trying to find another club but some might get a 1 year contract from us if nothing else falls our way during the trade period.
This is looking very "womp womp" thus far.

You need a better friend.

My feeling is he will be wanted by a fair few clubs and could bolt above pick 20.

He finds the right spots and can get the ground ball. Reminds me of a young Shuan Rehn but faster across the ground to be honest.

A good prospect in a few years for a club willing and has a surplus of mids on KPP

And they only just took Goad as well. I agree it seems strange but the person who I was quoting seemed genuine to me, so I'm just taking it at face value.

Yeah if you see him as the next Rehn, Dean Cox or peak form Josh Grundy (athletic, hard working, good skills) he's worth a good pick for sure.

What do you mean, getting Cumming killed the 'good news story' of the logo;)..they had that up their sleeve to wheel out if Cumming had chosen Port
Well looks like now we’ll have to officially wheel out cumming to cover for the logo.

Reverse psychology you think...hide it behind the good news story of Cumming and hope no one notices and then by the time the season rolls round and its on things, people be like..huh, what happened, didn't the logo use to look different? oh well
