It would be unheard of for us to have some luck with preseason injuries. Surely it has to change one day?

So Round 1, 4 best 22 players out.

Sincs, Butler, Howard, Webster,

Up to 6 depending on how you pick your best 22.

Dow, Clark, Windy if not in the best 22, would be likely ins with the injuries we have. Dow will hopefully become genuine first 22.

I suspect Jones will come into the 22now, or be the Sub.

Especially glad that we picked up Bonner now. And that Wilson has been flying as a new draftee.

Sincs may be in. Had scans today and all clear. Will be back in full training next monday

With Sincs I think it just comes down to do they think he can pull up from a 5 day break (to the Collingwood game) with limited conditioning and not risk any further injury.

The major positive on the injury front is Battle. He is such a gun and so important for us.

Not sure we have a defender crisis but the lock down defender for the smalls is definitely a worry. Not sure who takes Stengle round one.

Injury list isn't too bad honestly. No one is out for the season. Only 1 longish term injury to a fringe player. Most of our best 22 will be available by either round 1 or 2 with a few more probably missing the first 3-4.
Having a few players out early can sometimes be a blessing as they haven't had such a long pre-season grind so could essentially remain fresher later in the season.
There's a certain few we'd be hoping we can get through a full season unscathed for once, so let's see how that goes.

Once again we have the largest number of players unavailable leading into the 1st round. Some cant be avoided, but surely the club (RTB) has to re-assess how they approach pre seasons?

It doesnt matter how fit the core of the group are when you have 25% of your list sitting on the side lines, something has to change.

Henry, Wilson, Bonner, for Gresh, Coff, JB.

We are well in front.
