Won't happen. We'll hold pick 2 on draft night, what happens from there who knows but I suspect it won't be traded and we'll use pick 2.We made the rumour file (I know) on 3AW this morning. Rumour is that we will swap pick 2 with tiggers for 6 and 10 - deal today. Thats what was said.
If that occurred, we'd suddenly see an influx of Tigers supporters claiming that they'll trade pick 2, but only for 2 top 10 draft picks.Pick 6 and 10 for 2? Done deal.

What an out of character post.......most of them never had it!!
Look, my judgment could be off here having literally never listened to the 3AW rumour file, but it seems like an unlikely source to be pinning our hopes on
tis ross'sDepends. If it’s actually Ross’ rumour, it’s probably above 50% chance. If it’s some random calling in, it’s about 0%.
Picking a high end mid isn’t a waste.I think you may have misinterpreted my argument. I'm arguing for keeping a strong draft hand for next year and addressing weaknesses in the list rather than spending future picks or wasting pick 2 on another high-end mid.
tis ross's
Yeah because it's made up of players that are 25, 22, 22, 20, 20 and 19 years old. So one player in their prime and five in their first four years. All are first rounders and all but one are top five picks. The answer to our midfield isn't more top five picks it is time. Our midfield is not the finished product by any means
No there are still spots to improve on . This will sound harsh whilst Scott, Simpkin are very good they can be improved on. Will is a wait and see and perhaps Powell might high fwd or back flanker sure McKercher might pop on the wing but there is spots for truly exceptional midsYeah because it's made up of players that are 25, 22, 22, 20, 20 and 19 years old. Best result (IMO) would be to get a good aggressive trade early into the first round with a future pick or two. Will mean clubs like the Tigers have to pony up or f off. If we managed a pick in that 3-10 range for a future pick or picks all of a sudden any perceived leverage for a 6/10 deal is gone.I hope we retain pick 2 (but not reach for anyone) and then trade back into the first round somehow.
Picking a high end mid isn’t a waste.
Yes, we need kpps, but a) they need to be the right ones and b) be available in our range.
Our midfield is not the finished product by any means
Yes. Unless you ignore our first two picks in every recent draft.Am I correct in thinking we used two picks (first rounds) on 2 tall KP last year?
One on a half back, one on a marking Forward and one on a top 3 mid/winger.
So then you add Wardlaw, Sheezel.
Lost JHF and TT.
Powell, Phillips.
Have we really gone hard on mids?
I'm happy to do this if we can trade back in with futures. I'd hate not to get Tauru, but happy if we managed a good key forward.I hope we retain pick 2 (but not reach for anyone) and then trade back into the first round somehow.
What about nowDon’t think any pick swaps will happen now
