Clearly didn’t duck the head. Dived on the ball but that doesn’t give the tackler free reign to make high contact

I only ever experienced cheating as a teen playing Tallebudgera. Their home ground and lots of dodgy things such as bad calls, umpire throw ins landing short (due to the boundary umpire facing the players during throw ins). Still, we had a 5 point lead with a minute to go. They got a dubious free kick for a head high tackle (not near the head). The player took a shot and shanked it, nearly hit the behind post. The ump signalled a goal.

Us kids were furious, but seeing the parents get angry almost made it worth it
