I would have preferred bay 224 however ended up with 3 seats in bay 205 on the other side. This is despite logging in with my membership barcode and buying shortly after 10.00 on Friday. Bay 205 was just over $100 each while 224 were $86. If we're surrounded by Hawks fans I'll probably try my luck over in the Members section after the first quarter.

All seats will be sold, you won’t be able to move seats.

Suddenly the best seats in the house are up for grabs - section 229/230/231 - fancy rewarding non members and late-comers??!! F@ck you Ticketmaster / AFL. Colonial you need to call this out.
Have been.

It’s bullshit like this that makes us a laughing stock.

I just submitted a complaint to Ticketmaster. Blasted them.
This is very poor form but you need to complain to the AFL (or SEN Melbourne) not the ticket seller. The broadcasters likely have requested that the outer side be sold first so a non sellout crowd looks better on TV.

Also there may have withdrawn the last 100 or so tickets they were available in the Suttor stand.

Don’t rule out returned member presale tickets, corporate and sponsorship tickets. This happens all the time with big finals at the MCG. The positive is that these tickets will definitely sell quickly (they are selling about 500-1000 a day) but it sucks for the fans that accepted inferior tickets.

I got a seat in the upper Cumberland stand but would take a lower bowl seat on the wing (for the same price) if I knew I could…

Any agitation at scale should get traction as Ticketmaster would have to escalate feedback to the AFL, but point noted, it is likely a TV broadcast directive.

The Hawks could receive a huge boost with Josh Weddle's return for their elimination final. CAPTAIN James Sicily has backed Josh Weddle to be ready, should the fellow Hawthorn defender return from an extended injury break for Saturday's elimination final. Hopes are growing at the Hawks that the running defender, one of their best players, will be recalled for the clash against Greater Western Sydney.

Josh Battle has played 146 games, but only two finals games since being drafted in 2016. On Saturday, he'll have played a third in an elimination final against GWS at Engie Stadium.

The Hawks and the Giants have produced some close encounters over the past few years. The last seven clashes have been decided by 22 points or less. Hawthorn also hasn't won a game at the Sydney Showgrounds, and they'll need to stop the Giants' inspirational captain, Toby Greene, if they have any chance to cause an upset.

Battle flagged that utility Blake Hardwick is the ideal match-up for the Giants skipper, which could play a significant role in the outcome of the contest. "I think we'll try to stick to what we do and our systems, and hopefully that can help us. I think 'Dimma' Hardwick comes to mind for me. He's a great match-up for Toby. He's been outstanding this year and normally locks down on small forwards. If I were the coach, I'd play Dimma on him."

Hawthorn is also expecting dashing defender Josh Weddle to be available for selection after successfully returning through the VFL over the weekend.

Seems Buckley is still touch and go? We need him fit and well vs Hawks.

Buckley didn't participate in a modified team training day at Engie Stadium last Friday, instead completing a rehab program away from the main group, and is expected to sit out Tuesday's significant session as well.
