I really hate going into a match worrying that Diles might be saved by a scrappy 1 goal win with a fortunate goal plus some fortunate referee errors.

I would hope that the board has resolved to fire him no matter what the result is on Friday night but are doing it on the Sunday so our new manager can be announced with a week of training leading up to the original rivalry.

All our suspended punishments from the derby riot a few years back expire the end of the season, so the club probably views a "Melb Shitty"esque crowd as a good thing. Less people means less chance of some nuffies coming in and costing us.

Get Nishi to press like mad, Santos and Juan to get the ball going quickly forward to him. Run him into the ground and replace with either Vergos or Reec around 60 minutes or if he is having a blinder keep him on.
