The fact we were the 2nd worst performed team this year and our first actual player pick was pick 7 is a ****ing disgrace.

Three of the players that went ahead of our pick wouldn't even be playing AFL if it wasn't for the northern academies plus next year could be our turn (I live in hope)

Averaged 26 touches in CTL and 21 in national champs under age year. Had some niggles and a head knock around the Champs this year. Needs a good run at it physically, assuming that settles in time, he’ll be a champ.

I don’t recall messaging you. I have three chats going. You ain’t in any of them

But I’ve got a few things wrong. It’s because no one knew anything. Twomey (although I feel he wanted to say Grilj for us but didn’t) even had little idea. Which says it all. He was ringing his contacts up until the draft and was only texted from Grilj manager once we told them he was coming to us.

But Richmond was a club that didn’t leak. Which is a positive as a fan.

agree its a national competition you should be made to be played where you are drafted who is to say qld academies are rorting the system by getting kids that lived somewhere else first and got them to relocate to qld to hide them

I felt the same in an interview he did a week or so before the draft, but wasn't sure if he just doesn't come across well in interviews. Sounds like we really value the character of Grlj and Cumming, which is good.

Maybe he's a great guy though and I've read him wrong just because he seems like a bit of a bogan

Love the big calls - such and such won the draft, such and such are no good. Draft winners and losers aren't known for years.

Bombers and Blues have been winning the trade period and/or draft for 20+ years … they’ve got 3 x finals wins and 1 PF finish in total between them in that time.

Let others ‘win’ the draft whilst we win more flags.
