that's exactly right. I do not for the life of me understand why they keep Ryan on the books. Our Ruck division is a one man band, poor Nank
Better to pay him out and try again...

Quite possible they could have said that the plan is we want to bring you in over summer if we can and see how you go in the environment before committing, and if a club bids on you we are comfortable enough to let you go.I wonder if we told him "even if there is nobody else that we like and we pass, we still wont pick you. In fact we'd rather have 1 less player on our list than have you on it!"

How many other clubs have spots available? If we're the only ticket in town let's turn this shit into a reality tv showNHH
Krasnadamskis
Oskar Ainsworth
Tom Burton
Taj Murray
BOB
Blake Chambers
Blake Kelly
Rory Wright
Any of these we can get in to train?
Lots of clubs passed today so there will be a fair few in the mix I reckon. How many other clubs have spots available? If we're the only ticket in town let's turn this shit into a reality tv show
Again not shocked by this being the case. We've clearly got a set of abilities & characteristics that we want in our draftees and we won't be swayed from it no matter what.Turns out he wasn't on the board![]()
Danog goes whack at tigs2010I dont ****ing know campaigner, ask Blair
where is rookie draft outcome listed? who went where? link?
We can nominate him as a father-son next year come draft time if we wish. Before and after that, he is free to a good home. Can we still nominate Louis as a category A rookie after today as we still have the open rookie spot?
u telling me sonsie is a better player to have on the list than a new player ?
Or worse, we take Harry Scott and tiger_tough doesn't shut the **** upI can see it now. We'll invite 4 players to train on all summer. There will be massive arguments over who we should take for several months.
Then in February, on the dead line day, we will elect to not sign anyone and instead wait until the mid season draft.
We got Alger the same way last year. It is just smart business I would have thought ... St Kilda or Essendon may have chosen not to match and we would have been left with these players on our list. Its the best i can come up with too
if there is no incentive for them to do it i dont understand why they are allowed to do it for us to come in ahead of other teams force them to match bids than take a player another club may have potentailly wanted.
If Stkilda or Essendon were hoping those guys would last till the rookie draft and we got the pick without giving up anything of any value id be pissed
If I was Kellaway I'd tell the club to 'shove it'.u telling me sonsie is a better player to have on the list than a new player ?
Or a shit home, so maybe Carlton or Essendon pick him up.We can nominate him as a father-son next year come draft time if we wish. Before and after that, he is free to a good home.
