country leagues are only getting weaker. If you're an early developer, it's very possible. But I'm more interested in them being ahead of the pack in five years' time rather than being the big fish in a small pond in their teens.

Weak draft and we are picking at 6&7. Not historically the range for the games best midfielders. In fact pick 6 has been the worst top 10 selection by far.

If we get two 200 game flankers we might be miles ahead of a so-so mid, who it turned out look good by comparison to average opposition.

You know how it goes, NZ ... it's only a weak draft when we have pick 16-20 as our first.
